An immigration judge has terminated the deportation case against Narciso Barranco, the undocumented father of three US Marines who was detained by ICE last year while landscaping in Southern California. The fact that 3 of his sons served in the military gives him a pathway to US citizenship. Homeland Security defended the agents’ aggressive arrest, saying the agents had felt 'threatened' by Barranco accusing him of having raised his weed trimmer at them. #BREAKING: ICE is going to stop including deaths of detainees who die up to 30 days after transfer to the hospital or deportation. So... they can abuse, starve & neglect detainees as long as they send them to the hospital, or deport them before they die, & there will be no accountability? 👉 18 detainees have died in ICE custody in the first 5 months of 2026. This includes both detention centers & ICE Processing Centers. 31 people died in ICE custody in all of 2025, showing a rise in deaths. The majority of the deaths were attributed to complications from existing health conditions, natural causes, or suspected suicides. At least one death was officially ruled a homicide by asphyxiation. 5 of the deaths so far this year have been ruled suicides, compared to 5 total for the entire year of 2025, showing an alarming trend. ICE gets paid an average of $160 per inmate, per day, plenty to properly care for them. Neglect & corporate greed killed these innocent immigrants. She conveniently "broke" this on the same day that she's being accused of "SERIOUS PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT" in an ethics complaint filed with the Florida Bar, signed by 70 people. 👀 "The signatories include liberal and moderate-leaning law professors, attorneys, & retired chief justices of the Florida Supreme Court. They accused Bondi of misconduct that "threatens the rule of law and the administration of justice."" 👀 It relates to a Feb 5 memo that directed her federal agency's lawyers to "zealously pursue the President's political objectives" or face disciplinary action, including potential termination. The complaint highlights several instances where Bondi's conduct at the DOJ has led to resignations due to ethics concerns & people being forced out over the DOJ's handling of the Eric Adams corruption case, which appears to be a quid pro quo.
