What if I told you that this is where (see the video) the very first parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) began? Would you believe it? Long before RCCG became a global ministry with thousands of parishes across continents, its humble journey started on Willoughby Street, Ebute-Metta, Lagos. That modest building holds a special place in the history of the church. Every first Sunday of the month, which is Thanksgiving Sunday, Pastor E. A. Adeboye worships at the RCCG National Headquarters, The Throne of Grace (TOG), in Ebute-Metta. Earlier this year, while the reconstruction of Cemetery Street was underway, Daddy took an alternative route to the headquarters. As he drove along Willoughby Street, a memory came flooding back. He remembered that the first-ever RCCG parish was located on Willoughby Street. Moved by the thought, he decided to stop by and visit the church. When he arrived, he found that the church building, though rich in history, was in need of significant renovation and upgrading. Recognizing its historical importance to the RCCG family, Daddy made a promise: the church facility would be upgraded and restored to reflect the legacy it represents. Today, RCCG Covenant Chapel has been upgraded and restored to reflect it significance among RCCG families. Here is Pastor J.F. Odesola constantly mentioning CAN and PFN as the bodies whose authority they are under and obeying during the 2020 prayer walk. But Peter Obi Supporters have been using that to spread falsehood against Baba Adeboye. RCCG wasn't the only church that adhered to CAN and PFN call for prayer walk on that day, but because the leadership of RCCG did not allow Peter Obi to turn RCCG to a campaign ground, they have decided to be dragging the church. Enough is enough. We will resist all your evil agenda.

Now that the 74th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has come to a close, I want to encourage anyone who has not been attending RCCG to locate the nearest RCCG parish in your neighbourhood and start worshipping with us. However, if you are already a member of RCCG, but have not enrolled in any of the following classes, please make it a priority to do so before the 75th Annual Convention: 1. Believers’ Class 2. Baptismal Class 3. Workers-in-Training 4. House Fellowship Leadership Training 5. School of Disciples 6. Bible College These are not merely programmes to attend; they are opportunities to deepen your faith, grow spiritually, understand the doctrines of the church, and prepare yourself for greater service in God’s vineyard. By the way, RCCG TLC Mushin (RCCG The Landmark Church Mushin) is one parish you can worship with.
