Shorts

By far the most dramatic trail cam footage I’ve captured: a Eurasian wolf hunting a red deer hind. The deer takes the well-trodden path banking left, but the wolf bolts straight up the steep gully embankment — a demanding shortcut to cut it off. #trailcamera #cameratrap

Laura and I just walked home and were passed by transhumant shepherds with flock. Only at the last second did the shepherd at the rear and myself recognise each other! They have walked a long way already and have more that 100 km to go before they reach their destination.

Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx). Thrilled to have captured this would be an understatement! Carpathian mountains, Transylvania, Romania. #trailcam #cameratrap #wildlife

I think this is one of the largest Eurasian brown bears that I have ever caught on camera. #Transylvania #wildlife #cameratrap #trailcamera #brownbear
