I think it really comes down to two things we’ve seen repeatedly with WNBA fan incidents. Trash talk is always “cool” until you’re the one losing. And if the Fever are involved, suddenly everything becomes a referendum on the entire fanbase. I love Allisha Gray, but she’s also the player who had a Fever fan temporarily removed after they yelled, “You’re good, Lex. She’s not even trying anymore.” Online people immediately assumed the fan must have said something racist. Then after the recent A’ja incident, we get “something always happens in Indy” on a national Prime broadcast. Online People immediately assume the fan must have said something racist. That’s the problem. You can’t celebrate trash talk and passionate fandom while repeatedly villainizing Fever fans without evidence, then offering little to no correction when the narrative falls apart. The host is right that "This is what we want" and I would love if interactions with Fever Fans were treated the same.

I watched this Fever playoff loss COURTSIDE. And some of what happened looked VERY different from the broadcast. The reviews. The missed calls. The defensive mistakes. And the difference playoff experience made when it was time to close. My courtside reaction 👇 Video below Also I'm announcing that I will be posting all my captured Courtside footage this year for the Members on my Youtube channel. This includes a lot of footage I havn't posted. Meltdowns, tooth fairy CC and more.

I'm sorry, I try not to be a downer on players, but this game has been an indictment of Angel Reese's development as a player. She's already caught CC in the neck going for a rebound, to the point CC was talking to the refs about it. Offensively, the bigger issue is the same one we've talked about. She's getting wide open looks at the rim and either missing them or getting them blocked. And watch her drives. She constantly throws out that patented elbow/hook to create space. She does it ALL the time, which is especially frustrating when players like AB get maligned for throwing elbows. Angel is an elite rebounder. That's undeniable. But at some point there has to be more development around that skill. Finishing, touch, counters, footwork, decision making. Right now, the gap between her rebounding and the rest of her offensive game is glaring.

Okay reposting this without promoting the fake headline from BrickCenter but this prompt got me thinking. “Olivia Miles is what everyone thinks Caitlin Clark is.” You know what? I agree. Because apparently people still have NO IDEA how good Caitlin Clark actually is. 😭 Last 10: Clark: 26.3 PTS | 9.4 AST | 68.9 TS% Miles: 21.8 PTS | 6.8 AST | 61.2 TS% AST%: 42.8% vs 29.6% Rim AST/G: 4.6 vs 2.6 Miles has the edge in rebounding and taking care of the ball. But Clark is scoring 4.5 more PPG while being nearly 8 percentage points more efficient, generating 2.6 more assists per game, assisting on a dramatically larger share of her teammates' baskets, AND creating nearly 2 more shots at the rim per game. That's the real gap. Clark isn't just scoring more. She isn't just passing more. She's carrying a larger offensive load while creating more and better scoring opportunities for herself and everyone around her. Olivia Miles is having an incredible rookie season. Caitlin Clark is playing at another level that I think a lot fans are not truly grasping.
