Here is the latest with the Extra-Point-Gate in the Torres vs Shafter game. Shafter is leading 42-41 Shafter administration/Torres Administration/ADs and the Officials will meet on Sunday at 10am with the CIF Commish Ryan Tos, and will have a decision on who will be playing Dos Palos in Division 4 Section Championship game on Friday night. Bottom line the Refs never left the stadium and knew they made the wrong call. The call should have been made last night that the ball was completed to an ineligible receiver (Center caught the ball) and the play should have never counted. Will the CIF do the right thing? Stay tuned

Darian Mensah, after leading Duke to an ACC title and committing to return for 2026, entered the transfer portal on Jan 16, hours before the deadline, despite a $4-7.5M annual revenue-sharing deal with exclusive NIL rights, Miami Hurricanes is the frontrunner with a ~$10M package: $4-5M buyout, luxury housing, Adidas campaigns, and NIL perks for his sister. As of now, Darian has not signed a deal yet but it’s close. This last-second flip leaves Duke without a QB replacement, exposing NIL’s “Wild West” chaos. HS Baseball News Garza Guardians Head baseball Coach Chad Rothford has been fired after coaching one year. Anything you hear on the reason why Chad was fired, is all bullshit or made up. Chad got Glaused! Chad did nothing wrong and he was fired because the Garza Administration simply didn't like him or their feelings got hurt. Some didn't like him from the get-go. 99% of Players and Parents like Coach. Chad and his staff did a good job with the new program, did a good job raising money and the 2025 young team had the makings to be a contender. Here are a couple of videos of the Guardian players and parents holding a rally today and fed up with the struggling Garza Administration. They want answers!! It will be 3 coaches in 3 years. Superintendent Ketti Davis came out to the rally and was no help. Here is a letter sent out and the Administration can't even spell Chad Rothford's name correctly. Very disrespectful! In the letter, there was a meeting scheduled to introduce the interim coach but the meeting was canceled. I'm thinking the crazy Garza Administration had no idea that the team/parents are so upset with what is going on so they canceled the meeting. Boys basketball final Kerman 64 McFarland 62 Or was it the final score? The Lions score with.2 seconds to go. You can’t do much in .2 seconds but pray for a tip in. Watch the video….. The clock doesn’t start until the ball hits the backboard. Bottom line The Refs should have huddled before Kerman inbounded the ball and talked about the situation. This game should be played on Monday starting in overtime at 62-62 CIF…you are on the clock ⏰
