Established refugee camps, Large-scale camps were set up in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan to provide shelter, food, and basic services. Access to education, Afghan refugee children were allowed to attend Pakistani public schools and later Afghan-run/community schools supported within Pakistan. Healthcare support, Refugees were given access to public hospitals and basic healthcare services in many areas. Long-term asylum policies, Pakistan allowed Afghan refugees to remain for decades, often without strict time limits, especially during periods of continued conflict in Afghanistan.
