Makkah Al-Mukarramah Summit for Joint Defence. At the gracious invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, paid a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on 24 Safar 1448H, corresponding to August 7, 2026. His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister received H.E. the President of Türkiye, and H.E. the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah, where the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Summit for Joint Defence was held, during which the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Türkiye and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were reviewed, along with a number of issues of mutual interest. Guided by the longstanding historical ties among the three States, based on the enduring bonds of brotherhood and Islamic solidarity that unite them, and building upon their shared strategic interests and longstanding defence cooperation, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, and H.E. Mr. Muhammed Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, reflecting the three States’ shared commitment to further strengthening their collective security and to promoting peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond, in pursuit of a secure and prosperous future. The Agreement is intended to strengthen collective deterrence against any act of aggression, and stipulates that any armed attack against any one of the three States shall be regarded as an attack against them all. وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف اور چیف آف آرمی سٹاف و چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر نےپاکستان کے سب سے بڑے ڈیٹا سینٹر اور اے آئی کلاؤڈ سکائی 47 قراقرم ون کا افتتاح کر دیا. وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف نے افتتاحی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ متحرک، ترقی پسند اور شاندار مستقبل کے لیےسکائی 47 منصوبہ انتہائی اہم پیش رفت ہے،مشکلات اور چیلنجز کا امید اور حوصلے سے مقابلہ کریں تو معرکہ حق جیسے تاریخی کارنامے جنم لیتے ہیں،یہ منصوبہ پاکستان کے مستقبل کی ضمانت ہے اور ملک کو ناقابل تسخیر سکیورٹی فراہم کرے گا،متحد ہو کر کام کریں تو کوئی بھی ہدف ناقابل حصول نہیں۔ تقریب میں چیف آف آرمی سٹاف و چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر، وفاقی وزراء اور دیگر نے بھی شرکت کی۔وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ سکائی 47 ڈیٹا سینٹر قراقرم ون کی افتتاحی تقریب میں شرکت میرے لیے باعث اعزاز ہے،جدید ترین ڈیٹا سینٹر انتہائی متاثر کن اور قابل تحسین ہے،عظیم منصوبے کا مشاہدہ کر کے بے حد خوشی ہوئی ہے جو انتہائی مختصر مدت میں غیر معمولی عزم ،پختہ یقین اور اعلی مہارت کے ساتھ مکمل کیا گیا ہے. وزیراعظم نے مزید کہا کہ اگر ہم اس ماڈل پر عمل پیرا رہیں تو نہ صرف ہم ماضی کے نقصان کا ازالہ کرپائیں گے بلکہ مستقبل کے لئے انتہائی متحرک ترقی یافتہ پاکستان بنا سکیں گے جو وقت کی ضرورت ہے، یہ کام مشکل ہے لیکن ناممکن نہیں جس طرح کہ معرکہ حق میں ہم نے عظیم کامیابی حاصل کی جو پاکستان کی تاریخ کا عظیم ترین لمحہ تھا۔وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ جب انسان کا عزم پختہ ہو تو سب کچھ ممکن ہے،چیلنجز اور مشکلات آتی ہیں لیکن اگر مشکلات اور چیلنجز کے مقابلے کے لیے امید ،حوصلہ اور توانائی ہو تو معرکہ حق جیسے تاریخی کارنامے جنم لیتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ سکائی 47 جیسے عظیم منصوبے پاکستان کے مستقبل کی ضمانت ہیں ،فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر کی بصیرت افروز قیادت، شراکت دار زیڈ ٹی ای،وفاقی وزیر انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی اور سیکرٹری انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی کو بھرپور حمایت پر خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں،قوم کو سکائی 47 جیسا تحفہ دینے پر تمام سٹیک ہولڈرز کا مشکور ہوں، مسلسل محنت ایسے عظیم منصوبوں کو حقیقت کا روپ دیتی ہے،اسی طرح کے منصوبے کراچی اور لاہور میں بھی مکمل کئے جائیں گے،تمام سرکاری اداروں کو اس سہولت سے منسلک کرنا چاہیئے۔ وزیراعظم نے اپنے خطاب میں مزید کہا کہ یہ منصوبہ پاکستان کے عوام کے لئے ایک بہترین تحفہ ہے جو ناقابل تسخیر سکیورٹی فراہم کرے گا اس منصوبے سے یہ امید اور حوصلہ ملتا ہے کہ اگر ہم متحد ہو کر کام کریں تو کوئی بھی ہدف ناقابل حصول نہیں۔قبل ازیں وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف اور فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر کو ڈیٹا سینٹر سے متعلق بریفنگ بھی دی گئی ۔ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وفاقی وزیر انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی شزا فاطمہ خواجہ نے کہا کہ سکائی 47 ڈیٹا سینٹر کا افتتاح پاکستان میں مصنوعی ذہانت کے نئے دور کا آغاز ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ آج ایک نئے معاشی دور کے دروازے کھل رہے ہیں،ہم اپنے وسائل اور افرادی قوت سے بھرپور فائدہ اٹھا سکیں گے، ڈیٹا سے حاصل ہونے والی بصیرت مستقبل کی حقیقی معاشی طاقت ہے،مصنوعی ذہانت کی عالمی دوڑ محفوظ، کم لاگت اور مؤثر استعمال پر منحصر ہوگی۔انہوں نے کہا کہ مصنوعی ذہانت کے میدان میں آئندہ مسابقت ڈیٹا کے مؤثر استعمال پر ہوگی،سکائی 47 میں جدید سٹوریج ،جی پی یوز اور ہائی پرفارمنس کمپیوٹنگ سسٹمز دستیاب ہوں گے۔ سی ای او سکائی 47 حسن عباس نے کہا کہ دنیا میں 12 ہزار ڈیٹا سینٹرز ہیں جبکہ پاکستان میں صرف 22 ڈیٹا سینٹرز ہیں اور ہماری ڈیجیٹل گنجائش بہت زیادہ ہے، ہمارا ای کامرس بزنس 25 سے 30 فیصد سالانہ کی شرح سے فروغ پا رہا ہے، اس ڈیٹا سینٹر کے ذریعے ملک میں ڈیجیٹل شعبے میں ایک مضبوط بنیاد رکھی جا رہی ہے۔ واضح رہے کہ سکائی 47 ڈیٹا سینٹر ٹیکنالوجی کے میدان میں خود انحصاری کی جانب اہم پیش رفت ہے،ڈیٹا سینٹر مصنوعی ذہانت ،مشین لرننگ اور ہائی پروفیشن کمپیوٹنگ کے تقاضے پورے کرنے کی صلاحیت رکھتا ہے،ڈیٹا سینٹر کلاؤڈ کمپیوٹنگ ڈیٹا ہوسٹنگ اور ڈیجیٹل خدمات کے لیے مضبوط بنیاد فراہم کرے گا،ڈیٹا سینٹر حساس قومی اور تجارتی معلومات کو محفوظ رکھنے کا اہم ذریعہ ہے

Islamabad April 11 ,2026 As the Islamabad Talks commenced today, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with His Excellency JD Vance, Vice President of the United States of America. The U.S. Vice President was assisted by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Mr. Jared Kushner. The Prime Minister was assisted by Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Sen. Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Sen. Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi. Commending the commitment of both delegations to engage constructively, the Prime Minister expressed the hope that these talks would serve as a stepping stone toward durable peace in the region. The Prime Minister reiterated that Pakistan looks forward to continue its facilitation of both sides in making progress towards sustainable peace in the region.

اسلام آباد: 5 اگست 2026۔ وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف سے اسلامی جمہوریہ ایران کے وزیر صنعت، کان کنی و تجارت سید محمد اتابک کی سربراہی میں 6 رکنی وفد کی اسلام آباد میں ملاقات ہوئی. گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیرِ اعظم نے کہا کہ پاکستان اپنے بہترین ہمسایہ برادر ملک اسلامی جمہوریہ ایران کے ساتھ تعلقات کو انتہائی قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے. پاکستان خطے میں امن کے لیے اپنی مخلصانہ کوششیں جاری رکھے گا. خطے میں پائیدار امن کے قیام اور پاکستان اور ایران کے دو طرفہ تعلقات بالخصوص تجارت کے مزید فروغ کے حوالے سے ایرانی صدر عزت مآب ڈاکٹر مسعود پزیشکیان سے حال ہی میں اچھی گفتگو ہوئی. وزیرِ اعظم نے مزید کہا کہ امید ہے کہ مسلسل کوششوں سے دونوں ممالک کی قیادت کی جانب سے مقرر کردہ 10 ارب ڈالر کی دوطرفہ تجارت کا ہدف حاصل کیا جائے گا. تجارت، بالخصوص خوراک اور زرعی اجناس و مصنوعات کی تجارت کے فروغ سے دونوں ممالک مستفید ہوں گے. ملاقات میں پاکستان اور ایران کا سرحدی تجارت کے فروغ اور 24 گھنٹے بارڈر کھلا رکھنے کے لیے سہولیات بڑھانے، بہتر لاجسٹکس اور کسٹمز طریقہ کار میں ہم آہنگی لانے اور دونوں ممالک کے درمیان کان کنی کے شعبے، خصوصاً قیمتی پتھروں کی پراسیسنگ اور ویلیو ایڈیشن میں تعاون بڑھانے پر اتفاق ہوا. وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے ایران کے سپریم لیڈر آیت اللہ سید مجتبیٰ حسینی خامنہ ای اور صدر ڈاکٹر مسعود پزشکیان کے لیے نیک تمناؤں کا پیغام دیا. ایرانی وزیر سید محمد اتابک نے کہا کہ پرتپاک استقبال اور شاندار میزبانی پر پاکستان کے شکر گزار ہیں. خطے میں امن کے لیے پاکستان کی مخلصانہ سفارتی کوششوں اور ایران کے ساتھ اظہارِ یکجہتی پر پاکستانی قیادت اور عوام کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہیں.ایران پاکستان کے ساتھ اقتصادی اور تجارتی تعلقات کو مزید وسعت دینے کا خواہاں ہے. پاکستان اور ایران کے درمیان آزاد تجارتی معاہدے (Free Trade Agreement) کے حوالے سے تکنیکی سطح پر مذاکرات جاری ہیں. اجلاس میں وفاقی وزراء رانا تنویر حسین، جام کمال خان، علی پرویز ملک، جنید انور چوہدری، وزیر مملکت برائے خزانہ بلال اظہر کیانی، معاونین خصوصی سید طارق فاطمی، ہارون اختر اور طلحہ برکی اور متعلقہ اداروں کے اعلیٰ افسران شریک تھے۔

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, today, launched the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Prime Minister Office System (PMOS), describing it as a transformative digital platform that will modernise governance by recording, communicating, monitoring and tracking every directive issued by the Prime Minister from issuance through implementation, verified completion and post-completion monitoring. Addressing the launch ceremony at the Prime Minister's Office, the prime minister directed all relevant authorities to ensure the immediate and full implementation of the new AI-based system, making it clear that traditional paper-based working would be replaced by digital processes. "From today onwards, I will not expect any of you with a file in your hands. Everything will be discussed through this mechanism," the prime minister said. He praised Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja and Secretary IT for their efforts in developing and operationalising the system. He urged all ministries and government departments to adopt the platform, saying it would significantly improve the government's ability to deliver results. "This would make service delivery easier," he remarked. The ceremony was attended by Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and other senior officials. During the ceremony, the prime minister was given a comprehensive briefing on the AI-powered platform and its objectives. The prime minister was informed that PMOS was the first government platform in Pakistan to integrate artificial intelligence as a central component of decision-making and implementation monitoring, calling it a trailblazer for the digital transformation of the federal government. According to the briefing, PMOS had been developed at the centre of government to ensure efficient communication of the prime minister's directives throughout the government machinery while enabling timely implementation in accordance with defined quality standards. The system also serves as a secure technology-driven decision-support platform by integrating analytics and structured information within a protected IT environment. During the briefing, it was informed that PMOS would facilitate continuous policy calibration by enabling the government to utilise technological, human and financial resources more effectively to generate better economic outcomes. By introducing the platform at the Prime Minister's Office, the government intends to embed governance reforms at the highest level before extending them across the wider administrative structure. At the heart of the platform is a comprehensive digital repository that records every directive issued by the prime minister together with the complete chain of implementation, making PMOS both an institutional knowledge base and a permanent record of government decision-making. Unlike conventional government tracking systems, the briefing explained, PMOS incorporates an artificial intelligence layer capable of reading, classifying and analysing directives rather than merely storing them.

اسلام آباد: 5 اگست 2026۔ وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف سے جاپان انٹرنیشنل کوآپریشن ایجنسی (JICA) کے صدر ڈاکٹر تاناکا آکیہیکو (Dr Tanaka Akihiko ) کی قیادت میں 9 رکنی وفد کی آج اسلام آباد میں ملاقات ہوئی. وفد سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیرِ اعظم نے کہا کہ پاکستان جاپان اور جائیکا کے ساتھ سات دہائیوں پر محیط دیرینہ شراکت داری کو انتہائی قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے. امید ہے کہ جائیکا کے صدر کا دورہ پاکستان دونوں ممالک کے تعلقات کو مزید مضبوط کرے گا. مشکل معاشی چیلنجز پر ٹیم ورک سے قابو پایا، اب پائیدار معاشی ترقی کے لیے اصلاحات کا عمل تیزی سے جاری ہے.حکومتی اصلاحات کے نتیجے میں صرف تین برس میں سرکاری محصولات دگنی ہوئیں. وزیرِ اعظم نے مزید کہا کہ نوجوانوں کو ہنر، تکنیکی تربیت اور باعزت روزگار کے مواقع فراہم کرنا اور خواتین کو بااختیار بنانا حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہے. معدنیات کے شعبے کی ترقی ہماری ترجیحات میں شامل ہے اور اس سلسلے میں JICA کے تکنیکی تعاون کا خیرمقدم کرینگے. چھوٹے اور درمیانے درجے کے کاروبار کی ترقی اور فروغ کے لیے سمیڈا میں اصلاحات کر کے اسے ایک فعال اور مؤثر ادارے بنایا. جائیکا کا سمیڈا کے ساتھ تعاون چھوٹے اور درمیانے درجے کے کاروبار کے فروغ اور برآمدات میں اضافے کیلئے مفید ثابت ہو گا. وزیراعظم نے صدر جائیکا سے جاپان میں حالیہ زلزلے میں قیمتی انسانی جانوں کے نقصان پر اظہار افسوس بھی کیا. ڈاکٹر تاناکا آکیہیکو نے وزیر اعظم کی جانب سے جاپان میں زلزلے سے قیمتی جانوں کے نقصان پر اظہار افسوس پر وزیراعظم کا شکریہ ادا کیا. ڈاکٹر تاناکا نے پاکستان میں انکی شاندار مہمان نوازی پر بھی شکریہ ادا کیا. انہوں نے کہا کہ جائیکا اور پاکستان کی شراکت داری اور تعاون کی ایک طویل تاریخ ہے. جائیکا صحت، تعلیم، شہری و دیہی ترقی، فنی و تکنیکی تربیت اور صنعتی ترقی سمیت مختلف شعبوں میں پاکستان سے تعاون کو مزید وسعت دینے کے لیے تیار ہے. وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتوں کی ترقیاتی ترجیحات کے مطابق تعاون کو مزید مضبوط بنایا جائے گا. جاپان سمیت عالمی برادری مشرقِ وسطیٰ میں امن کے لیے پاکستان اور اس کی قیادت کی کوششوں کو قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتی ہے. اجلاس میں وفاقی وزراء احسن اقبال، احد خان چیمہ، ڈاکٹر مصدق مسعود ملک، حنیف عباسی، سردار اویس احمد خان لغاری، شزا فاطمہ خواجہ، معاونین خصوصی سید طارق فاطمی اور ہارون اختر اور متعلقہ اداروں کے اعلیٰ افسران شریک تھے۔.

Islamabad: 29 July 2026. His Excellency Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today. Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with the Federal Ministers for Defence, Commerce, National Food Security & Research, Communications, Maritime Affairs, and Petroleum, the Adviser to the Prime Minister, and senior government officials, were also present. During the cordial meeting, the Prime Minister warmly welcomed the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and conveyed his best wishes to the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. Recalling the longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, founded on shared values and mutual trust, the Prime Minister observed that the two brotherly countries had always stood together through thick and thin. While exchanging views on the regional situation, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the leadership and people of Kuwait and strongly condemned the attacks on Kuwait and other brotherly Gulf countries during the ongoing conflict. He stated that Pakistan was playing its part as an honest and sincere mediator and facilitator in the regional peace efforts and thanked the Kuwaiti leadership for its support for these efforts. On bilateral relations, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of ties and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Kuwait in diverse fields, including trade, investment, energy, agriculture, information technology, maritime affairs, and human resource development. He also appreciated the Kuwaiti Government for generously hosting the Pakistani community and acknowledged its valuable contribution to Kuwait’s socio-economic development. Foreign Minister Al-Sabah conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Kuwaiti leadership to the Prime Minister and reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual benefit. He also expressed deep appreciation for the valuable contributions made by Pakistan, particularly by the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, in advancing dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the current crisis and restore peace to the region. Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad this evening. Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Sen. Mohammad Ishaq Dar , Members of the National Assembly Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Ms. Zeb Jaffar and Foreign Secretary Amb. Amna Baloch were also present. The Secretary General was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan H.E. Nawaf Saeed Al Malky. The Prime Minister warmly welcomed Dr. Al-Issa and thanked him for his participation in the OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, held in Islamabad on 12-13 July. The Prime Minister appreciated the invaluable role of the Muslim World League in promoting the true and moderate image of Islam, fostering unity among the Ummah, and advancing the message of tolerance, fraternity, and interfaith harmony across the world. In this regard, he commended the Secretary General's personal leadership in steering the League's global outreach and reaffirmed Pakistan's continued support for its initiatives. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his address to the National Assembly, today, announced that Pakistan would host the historic signing ceremony of the US-Iran peace agreement in Geneva on June 19, terming the deal a "monumental milestone" for global peace and a "triumph" of peace and dialogue over the devastation of war. “Today the world has witnessed that the pursuit of peace has achieved a great victory and the flames of war have begun to subside. This is a historic moment that historians will record in golden letters,” the prime minister said, addressing the National Assembly, hours after he and President Donald Trump announced that the deal between the United States and Iran had been reached. Describing the moment as a divine blessing after three months and sixteen days of immense trials, he said, “Following the dark night of war, the sun of peace has finally risen.” He told the House that under the deal, Iran and the US have announced the immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon. "This is not just an agreement between two nations, but a victory for peace, dialogue, and diplomacy over the devastation of war," the prime minister said, adding that the prestige and honor Allah has bestowed upon Pakistan today is something nations seek for centuries. Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed deep gratitude to Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Chinese President Xi Jinping, US President Donald Trump, Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, alongside the negotiation teams of both countries, for demonstrating immense wisdom, prudence, and patience under extremely difficult circumstances.
