Yesterday, my sister Dr. Ghada Sasa, PhD 🇵🇸 & I were shocked by the Islamophobia that we witnessed at a town hall in Mississauga about Ridgeway. The fact that this town hall was held at iftaar time, in an area with a 70% Muslim pop., is telling. Ridgeway is here to stay. #Islamophobia

Mississauga, home to Canada’s largest Palestinian community, is set to raise the Israeli flag on April 22. Carolyn Parrish has the ability to veto this flag raising but is choosing to celebrate genocide. As Palestinians commemorate the Nakba, Mississauga celebrates their erasure.
