Reality is malleable. Time is fluid. One of my first interests in using AI VFX 3 years ago was background transformation and car replacement. Don Allen Stevenson III ᯅ and I shot a quick test yesterday to do just that. SAM2 for root and DiffuEraser to do video inpainting and create a clean plate. Then ran the empty background plate through Sora to transport the cars back into the 1950s. This will open the door for indies to be able to set films in different time periods.
