To my Ukrainian friends who are now calling Poland fascist because of another attack on Ukrainian couple by minority nationalists: don’t make the same mistake that some Poles are making about Ukraine.🇵🇱🇺🇦 A bunch of nationalist thugs brutally attacking innocent Ukrainians does not represent Poland. They represent themselves and minority of far-right nationalists. They are already identified, arrested, will be prosecuted, and punished to the fullest extent of the law. But here’s my warning to Ukraine as well. Nationalism is a poison that doesn’t simply disappear when the war ends. Right now, many Ukrainian nationalists are fighting Russia. Their courage on the battlefield and the ideology they hold are two separate questions. When the war is over, Ukraine will face a completely different challenge: how to reintegrate hundreds of thousands of veterans into civilian life, including people with trauma, combat experience, and, in many cases, strong nationalist beliefs. Every country that goes through a major war faces this challenge. If Ukraine fails to deal with it wisely, some radical groups could become a serious internal problem, just as extremist nationalist groups have become a problem in peace times Poland and elsewhere. My point isn’t that Poland is fascist or that Ukraine is fascist. My point is that unchecked nationalism eventually turns against everyone. Today it may target Russians. Tomorrow it may target Ukrainians, Poles, minorities, political opponents, or anyone else labeled “the enemy.” That’s exactly why both Poland and Ukraine must defeat Russian imperialism without allowing nationalism to become the ideology that defines their future. This guy is a “God’s” Christian American. ✝️🇺🇸 A person was just shot and killed by ICE agents. At this point, I don’t know whether the shooting itself was legally justified or not. Some reports say the person tried to run over an ICE agent. If that’s true, then the use of deadly force may have been justified in that moment. But that’s not even my point. My point is that ICE’s aggressive enforcement tactics are creating more and more confrontations like this. The more often heavily armed agents confront people in chaotic situations, the greater the risk that someone, whether an officer or a civilian ends up dead. What I genuinely don’t understand is how someone can look at a human being’s death and say this is “God’s work.” Whatever your politics are, I don’t remember Jesus teaching people to kill and then celebrate death.

TBH, I feel pretty sorry for Charlie Kirk and his family at this point, it must be terrible to see this. Especially about only 60 days after his death. I am pretty sure that this is a transaction with perks. Usha Vance is a big problem for JD Vance 2028 bid, Erika Kirk is something they see as a someone that will unite MAGA again. Which makes me even wonder if the conspiracy theories about Kirk’s death, by “concerned” MAGA crowd are just conspiracies🤔 Trump “assassination” attempt in Pennsylvania could point to some clues.

One of the biggest political misunderstandings in America is that people keep confusing communism, socialism, democratic socialism, and social democracy as if they’re the same thing. They’re not. MAGA calls everything to the left of them “communism.” That’s intellectually lazy and historically wrong. But here’s the Hyparadox: parts of the left don’t help either. Many people around Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Mamdani advocate policies that are much closer to Nordic-style social democracy, yet they still call themselves for some reason a democratic socialists. That creates even more confusion and gives MAGA an easy target. It reminds me of calling a real Football ⚽️ a soccer. I was born under real socialism and communism in Poland. I watched that system collapse, I hated it. That’s exactly why I support social democracy, not communism and not authoritarian socialism, or democratic socialism. Democratic Socialism is a one step before socialism which usually leads to communism. Social democracy means a democratic capitalist economy with a strong safety net, universal healthcare, workers’ rights, and equal opportunity. That’s Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland. Those countries are not communist. They’re among the freest, wealthiest, and most innovative societies on Earth. Democratic socialism is criticizing capitalism, which social democracy is actually based on. The same thing happens with Israel. I support Israel’s right to exist. I support Jewish people. I always have. At the same time, I have no problem saying: Fuck Netanyahu, his government, and anyone who supports policies I believe are immoral. Criticizing a government is not the same as hating an entire people. America desperately needs to stop arguing with labels and start arguing with reality.
