I was at the cinema this evening and during the ads before the film there was a Hallowe’en ad from Fanta. I couldn’t quite believe my eyes, but it was certified AI slop. I couldn’t record, of course, but I’ve found it online. I’m sure the Coca-Cola Company of all companies could afford a real ad. Down with AI slop.

In the latest episode of ‘Yookay content my Instagram algorithm brings me’ we might actually have an all time top Yookay aesthetics contender. The sirens and bins in the background are a nice touch. It’s truly got it all: >the animal in the shopping trolley >iconic Whitechapel setting >array of phone repair and other foreign-owned small businesses >JD Sports for good measure >myriad ‘Londoners’ in shot >Ukay International in the background >bemused foreign worker(s) And where was this carcass in a filthy trolley headed? Why, to Ukay Meat Bazaar of course!

More evidence of the “clean up crew” phenomenon plaguing British towns and cities during the night-time economy.

The best thing about this BBC campaign is that it encourages you to look back on the original version from which it takes inspiration. The only trouble is, watching the original makes you realise how significant the decline is - not only at the Beeb, but in Britain more broadly.

A must watch. This just led the BBC News at Six. It’s got it all - people smuggling, illegal entry, asylum, migrant crime, vape shops/car washes/minimarts, and more. Credit to Sue Mitchell and colleagues for this excellent investigative journalism and public service broadcasting.

I’m assuming this is the same incident as the one in this footage - which my friend *who lives in rural Northumbria* sent me. London’s reputation taking a beating once again - and on the same day Sir Sadiq Khan is [also once again] tweeting out articles denying London’s downfall.

I’ve said previously and I’ll say again, despite all the criticism the BBC gets (most of which is entirely valid), there are still some pockets of high-quality investigative journalism coming out of our national public service broadcaster - and Sue Mitchell is one of the best.

Black man vs Traveller. Peak Yookay. It’s refreshing to see an MLE-accented young black man with roadman vibes doing pattern recognition. I would call this role reversal, but the white man is a Gypsy... Hope the worker keeps his job - best Sainsbury’s employee I’ve seen in ages.

A crossover episode of my two long running series ‘Yookay content my IG feed brings me’ + ‘housing is being colonised’ here. It’s got it all: >Somali guy >questionable business >nice Mercedes (maybe Motability) >South Asian woman on the phone >UC claim >wants to live in Alum Rock

I have no idea what happened before this clip was recorded - and given this has gone viral, it’s worth remembering that none of us do. However, it’s a poignant example of a trend I’ve noticed in recent years - the security industry and similar fields (I’m still not really sure what exactly these two men were/are due to lack of uniform and ID) has been taken over (you could say ‘colonised’) not only by Boriswavers with a poor grasp of English and an ever poorer understanding of the law (usually sub-Saharan Africans or Indian sub-continentals) - but also increasingly by “roadmen” (often UK born but with a mixed foreign-cum-MLE accent) like this. I’d challenge anyone - even the most bleeding heart faux leftist-liberal - to watch this clip and tell me that the behaviour of the two men was in any way acceptable. I also hope TfL are urgently looking into this given it happened on their property.

“Like obviously I'm born here innit, I'm British, but really I'm Ghanaian” “Mainoo should have played for Ghana… Look you should have chose Ghana shouldn't have chosen England” Every time a second or third gen migrant speaks, it’s so revealing - and I don’t say this happily.

Afghans vs Roadmen. We are living in an advanced stage of the Yookay.
