Texas Tech last played December 6th while Oregon played 1st round game Saturday. Ducks Coach Dan Lanning doesn't know if that's an advantage for his team "It's more of an indicator that the way we do playoffs in college football is messed up. This game should be at Texas Tech"

11 years ago today: February 5, 2014! Patrick Mahomes signed to play college football & baseball at Texas Tech at a ceremony at Whitehouse High School. Mahomes became a Red Raider for life on this day! He plays in another Super Bowl Sunday! Patrick Mahomes II

Hard to believe 21 years ago today, promos of me returning to Lubbock started running on KCBD. After 7 years in Philadelphia, I returned on NewsChannel 11 doing sports September 27, 2004 so Saturday is 21 years back! So thankful to live and work in Lubbock! I LOVE West Texas

10 years ago in 2013, the Red Raiders beat #24 TCU at home on a Thursday 20-10 The Red Raider defense was strong and Davis Webb came in for an injured Baker Mayfield to throw the game winning TD to Bradley Marquez. Bradley Marquez Tech hosts TCU tonight in another Thursday game.
