As we continue our countdown to Sam's 10 Year Castaversary, today I am sharing the video that I put together to celebrate last year's castaversary. (As such, no season 7 images are included) Please get comfy, grab a dram or something a little more PG if it is before midday where you are, and enjoy this little walk down #JamieFraser lane. #SamHeughan #Outlander

Each year we have come together to celebrate #SamHeughan and his birthday by fundraising for causes close to his heart. In December 2024, Sam fulfilled a lifelong dream of hiking to Everest Basecamp in Nepal. I was touched by his beautiful tributes to the people of Nepal, their warmth, their kindness, their spirit, and enthralled by Nepal's landscape and soul. Inspired by Sam's achievement and his words, I am so very pleased to announce that this year's Sam's Birthday Fundraiser recipient is dZi. The dZi Foundation (pronounced ‘zee’) is named for ancient Himalayan beads that bestow health and prosperity on their wearers – a sentiment that has guided their work for the last 25 years. dZi are a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable community development and eradicating extreme poverty in remote areas of Nepal. They envision a world of inclusive, thriving, and resilient communities that have achieved shared prosperity on local terms. dZi partners with local communities in Nepal to achieve shared prosperity by ensuring access to basic needs, catalyzing economic growth, and creating an environment for lasting change. Sam was able to see and experience firsthand the incredible work that dZi is doing, and I know that you will be just as proud as me to support this incredibly special foundation. If you would like to make a donation to our Sam birthday fundraiser please follow the attached link: Important Information: There are two donation options. US dollars via the DONATE option. Irrespective of your local currency your donation will be converted to US dollars. This conversion is done by your bank. If you have any questions please send me a DM and I can hopefully answer them for you. UK donors. If you would like to access Gift Aid, or make a donation in UK pounds, please use the second UK "GIVE A GIFT TODAY!" option. As always, our fundraiser will run for the next five weeks with the donation total announcement occurring on Sam's birthday, April 30. And, with that, our 2025 Sam birthday fundraiser is live! To each of you, thank you for making a difference in so many people's lives, just as Sam has made a difference in so many of our lives. HapdZi birthday, Sam. #SamHeughan #HapdziBirthdaySam

"Dear Jamie, I must admit that writing this feels surreal, foolish even, and yet you've been my companion this last decade. Silently standing by my shoulder (as Ian would), you've guided me on this epic journey. Is it strange that I see you not just as a character in Diana's incredible books but also as someone loved by many who has shaped my life. We've loved, lost and learnt at the same time. Your love of Claire and devotion to family was everything, a privilege (and a pain at times!) to share. What a gift! So on that note, from myself personally and from all of us, I begin with a simple: "Thank You, Jamie." Sam Heughan to Jamie Fraser. Watching this video simply reiterates how much Sam loves Jamie Fraser. Truly. I can't imagine another actor capturing the essence of a character the way that Sam captured Jamie's heart and soul. We are so lucky to have had Sam portraying Diana's Jamie. So. Very. Lucky. Get comfy. Grab a dram or a water, and watch as Sam reflects on who Jamie is to him.

Prior to being cast as #JamieFraser, Sam had performed as a myriad of different characters across stage, screen, and television. Since being cast as Jamie Fraser, Sam has had the opportunity to portray a range of diverse characters, while continuing to evolve in his portrayal of Jamie on #Outlander Today's video, as part of our lead up to Sam's 10 Year Castaversary, is a throwback, looking at some of the characters that Sam has portrayed over the last couple of decades. I am really, really, really excited to see what is next for Sam! Hopefully a return to theatre (fingers crossed!) #SamHeughan #Outlander PS Check out the following tweet for a photo of Sam in Romeo and Juliet. This video was made prior to the release of #Waypoints so it didn't include any photos from that publication.

Way back in 2018 Sam Heughan raffled off a date with himself as part of a fundraising campaign through Omaze. This "Win A Date With Sam Heughan" raffle ended up raising $2,892,080 for MPC, Omaze's most successful fundraiser to date. As part of the advertising Sam approached a bunch of kids for some dating advice and the resultant video is absolutely hilarious. It is one of my favourite Sam videos to watch. The banter between Sam and the kids is so funny. (And they say you should never work with children or animals! Pfft, so not true...well in this case anyway!) I know it has been shared a million times before, and I will probably share it at least another 50 times myself, but for those of you that haven't seen it, enjoy. And if you have seen it a few times before, like me, I hope you enjoy it again too! PS Fun fact, one of the blonde kids is now playing Jemmy on Outlander. Wonder if he'll have any new dating advice for Sam? #SamHeughan

It's Jamie Fraser Friday here in the future, and I must say, so far, JFF looks pretty fab! For your viewing pleasure, I give you Jamie Fraser's alphabet. Hopefully, it doesn't feel like school, though my spelling lessons never looked like this! No need to take notes. Just enjoy!

HapdZi Birthday, Sam! As many of you are aware, as part of this year's "Sam's Birthday Fundraiser" we have been raising funds for the dZi Foundation. The dZi foundation works along side communities in Nepal providing support, infrastructure, knowledge, education, and upskilling, whilst working towards sustainability and self-sufficiency. They are doing truly amazing work within these communities and I am so very glad that they are this year's recipient. Now for the exciting part! Drum roll, please... I am very proud to announce that we were able to raise $32, 290USD! Yes, you read that correctly! $32,290USD! Thank you to everyone who has donated, those who were cheerleaders, and those who were donators and cheerleaders. I am so incredibly proud of our community and I hope that you are too! You guys are fabulous! I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Jake Norton for sharing his love of Nepal and its people with us. By sharing his memories, and parts of his recent trip with Sam, we were able to have a personal connection with both the people and the places that our donations will benefit. For that I will always be grateful to Jake. I would also like to thank Jake for his very, very generous donation match during the last week of the fundraiser. It was great to see Jake ensure that "Sam" finally made it to the top of "Everest." (Where there's a will, or in this case, a Jake, there's a way!) As always, it is lovely to hear from the organizations that we raise money for each year and this year is no different. Please take a moment to listen to this lovely message of thanks from Wende Valentine, Executive Director at dZi. It is reminder of just how important our philanthropy is, and, that wherever we are in this wonderful world of ours we can always make a difference in the lives of others. "It takes a village. Ours just happens to be sparkly." #SamHeughan

Happy anniversary to one of my most favourite Sam moments. I remember listening to it live and thinking, "Did he just tell every customs officer that I was smuggling whisky into Australia???" Yep. He did. Good old Sam. Man, I laughed. After I rose from the dead, of course! You try having Sam tell everyone you're fantastic and then tell a funny anecdote about you. I bet you'd be tweeting from the afterlife, too 🤣 But, seriously, thankfully, the official knock at the door never came, and DeadliftgrlSF🏴🇺🇸🇦🇺🏴☠️💪🏽 and I continued our unbeaten run as the unofficial SS "import-export" company, Still Smuggling and I received my very own Sam-anointed moniker, Tash the Stash. What fun it has all been!

I must admit, although some questions are the typical cringe questions, there are also some great parts to this. The funniest part would have to be Dr Dr Dr Sam "I'm An expert In The Field Of Posting Thirst Traps" Heughan coyly declaring that he had no idea that he occasionally posts a thirst trap. Sam, you know. You know we know. And we know, that you know, that we are so very thankful that you do. 🤣🤣🤣
