This is so bad on so many levels. 1. The first rule of broadcasting. Assume the mic is always hot. 2. The denial somehow just makes it worse. The raised intonation on "no" is justifiably getting crucified. 3. Cutting the feed just makes you look so incredibly guilty 4. The fact that no one for even one second is confused about who that comment is directed at when there's literally zero evidence for that claim being even remotely true shows how toxic social media trends and rumors are and can be.

Ja'Kobe Walter is gonna miss his former teammates. His IG story just reminded me that four players from the 2025-2026 Raptors whom I spent 1000s of hours watching and analyzing won't be here next season. Add in Ulrich, AJ Lawson potentially and others yet to come. Life comes at you fast. But I really want to wish Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, Jon Mogbo and Sandro Mamukelashvili nothing but the best in California. I hope they do BB very well on their new times and thank them for being such a joy to cover. The 2025-2026 team was fun. It was a good group of hard workers. And don't let the Kawhi mania let you forget it. He chose Toronto because that team worked their asses off to get to the playoffs. He wasn't coming to a 25 win lottery team.

In the end, the Sixers offer was underwhelming, but it was the best one they had. And the Celtics learned what many front offices have known for a while. Top 25-30 players who get paid top 10 money become bottom 100 assets, even in their prime. The Celtics paid Jaylen Brown for the same reason the Clippers paid Paul George. They wanted to max out the contention window for their star by re-signing their supporting caste. It's a trap many teams fall into when trying to max contention windows. Klay got the bag post ACL injury because the Warriors wanted to help Steph. Myles got paid so the Bucks could help Giannis. Hell, right now the Raptors are about to pay Kawhi Leonard 170+ million over 3 years to help open up Scottie Barnes' window. But the reality is grim. 29ppg isn't enough anymore. Not without the impact, efficiency, defense and making your teammates better. Brown wasn't a great defender this year. He's an aggressive but less than superstar level scorer... And at nearly 60 million a year, with the analytical impact and player profile of an borderline All Star, the Celtics bet that Paul George + picks was worth getting off of one additional year of Jaylen Brown. It's not a popular decision. But it's reality. Front offices don't value him. Just like they didn't value Ja, BI and Trae Young. Learn the lesson. Within 12 months, Allen Graves is going to win over the entire country of Canada. Bookmark it. I've spent 2 days obsessively watching more and more Allen Graves tape and the end result of this process is that he'll be a top 12-13 player in this draft. People are overthinking the shot dip, combine testing and competition. 6'9 with a 7'0 wingspan, insane motor, shooting touch, generational hand-eye coordination and IQ... these players don't come around every draft. Don't let the smile fool you. Allen Graves is an absolute monster on the court.
