Every time Geno looks in my direction: “You’re crazy!”

Sergei Murashov got a toy Olaf from a Kinder Surprise Egg when he was young, and the snowman accompanies him everywhere. The goalie also drew a tiny Olaf on his pads: "It’s like a small part of my soul, outside on my gear. It's just reminding me to go in and play with a smile."

Asked Malkin about Crosby passing Lemieux, he said some nice things, then quipped: "I'm behind him, you know? Like, I'm still here, and he's feeling it! (It’s) why he played good, because he wants to be number one, for sure." It's so good to have Geno back 😂

Evgeni Malkin took the Russian-speaking Penguins to dinner on Saturday in Vancouver. I asked Ilya Solovyov what it’s like getting to know Geno: "It’s perfect. He’s like our father here [laughs]. Try to teach us everything."

Vasily Ponomarev, on his Ray-Ban Meta glasses: "I bought them because my parents are always asking me to make some videos (on) how everything looks like in the U.S. These glasses help me to just enjoy nature, walking outside, and at the same time, making videos to my parents."

Heading into this final game vs. Marc-Andre Fleury, Sidney Crosby said, "you reflect a bit...he's had an amazing career, and it was fun having an opportunity to play with him for a big chunk of it." Said time goes by so fast, and it feels like yesterday they came into the league.
