Every time Geno looks in my direction: “You’re crazy!”

Sergei Murashov got a toy Olaf from a Kinder Surprise Egg when he was young, and the snowman accompanies him everywhere. The goalie also drew a tiny Olaf on his pads: "It’s like a small part of my soul, outside on my gear. It's just reminding me to go in and play with a smile."

Kyle Dubas told the Penguins front office that nothing would make him happier than a busload of staff bonding on their way to Wheeling to support the Nailers. We ended up having two buses make the trip, with Dan Muse along for the ride. Read more:

Asked Malkin about Crosby passing Lemieux, he said some nice things, then quipped: "I'm behind him, you know? Like, I'm still here, and he's feeling it! (It’s) why he played good, because he wants to be number one, for sure." It's so good to have Geno back 😂

Evgeni Malkin took the Russian-speaking Penguins to dinner on Saturday in Vancouver. I asked Ilya Solovyov what it’s like getting to know Geno: "It’s perfect. He’s like our father here [laughs]. Try to teach us everything."

Crosby, on the emotion: "I love that group. I love playing. I love the experiences and the memories I've had. That's how it comes out. You don't see those moments all the time... when you see them, they tend to hit you a little harder the older you get." Reflections from 87 ⬇️

Bryan Rust hosted his Pittsburgh Penguins teammates to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers. Asked if he got any tips from Sidney Crosby, who has guys over for Thanksgiving and the Super Bowl. Rust: “I've learned what not to do!" Crosby: “I would love to hear what that is 😂" More:

Heading into this final game vs. Marc-Andre Fleury, Sidney Crosby said, "you reflect a bit...he's had an amazing career, and it was fun having an opportunity to play with him for a big chunk of it." Said time goes by so fast, and it feels like yesterday they came into the league.
