She gave Pizza Hut 13 years. This is how they thanked her. After more than a decade of showing up to work, she says she was fired — never a write up, never a warning. Just 13 years of dedication to a company and its customers and then one day they fired her for “performance issues” She knew the regulars. She watched families come back year after year. Her staff loved her, customers loved her, and somewhere along the way she helped turn that Pizza Hut into more than a restaurant. It became a little piece of the community. It was a place where birthdays were celebrated, kids grew up, employees became friends and customers walked through the door knowing there would be a familiar face waiting for them. There may always be another side to this story, but I’m guessing she was simply “too old”

🚨 HOLY SHIT!!! Can you say Houdini level? 😱 What looked like a routine arrest quickly turned into a complete nightmare for officers when this woman repeatedly broke free from her restraints. Watch as she gets placed in handcuffs, only to casually escape—not just once, but THREE SEPARATE TIMES. Even inside the police squad car, officers are scrambling as she slips right out of the third set of cuffs like it’s nothing. 🔥Another day, another unhinged mid-flight meltdown!🔥 This chaotic scene on a Boston-bound flight shows passengers going absolute wild in the aisle, screaming, shouting, and nearly coming to blows while trapped miles up in the air. Everyone’s gonna blame the big guy. He’s the one getting held back in the aisle, so he must be the problem. —WRONG!!! Watch the whole clip. The older, smaller guy in the hoodie is the one that punched him when he was buckled in. The big guy is being restrained by other people, including a flight attendant, trying to keep it from turning into a full brawl. At the end, you hear the flight attendant telling the big guy he saw the whole thing and he’s going to find witnesses. This is the social media trap in real time. Size and age become the entire story in three seconds. The older or smaller person gets the automatic benefit of the doubt. The bigger guy gets painted as the threat. Reality doesn’t care about your first impression. This is one of the dangers of social media people post a clip, and people immediately rush to judgment. I think the big guy, exercised extreme restraint. Could you have done the same? If he reacted with violence, he probably would’ve been put on a no fly list. So although he exercised his anger verbally, he refrained from a physical altercation. Slow down before you pick a side. The first frame almost always lies. #chaos #ContextMatters

🚨Wow! A man and his family go to a Morgan Wallen concert and some guy relieved himself on them😱 —Naturally he calls the police, but when they arrive they tell him they cannot arrest this man due to Maryland laws. —He says, “so a man can pull out his____urinate on me, my brother and my niece and there’s nothing you can do?” — instead of arresting the perpetrator, the police gave his info to the victim saying he could file a report later or press charges. Really, is this where we are at? Is there nothing these police officers could’ve done?

$100 a night!!! You’ve got to be kidding me. Place smells like mildew, swimming pool is like something from an abandoned hotel, spiders and weeds everywhere! Paid $5,000 for a family vacation and ended up in a 2 star nightmare. Refund deserved or is this just normal for a secluded cabin in the mountains? Oh and don’t even get me started on the “lake view”🙄

I have 2 boys and if there’s one in in life they loved when they were little it was big trucks…front loaders, skid, steers, graders, tractors, semis and garbage trucks. This little guy gets the full experience with these garbage men on his Birthday. Checking out the cab, the levers and the crusher in the back. All because he and his grandma took the time to not only notice them, but get to know them. This guy’s face absolutely lights up with pure joy when he gets cookies and hugs🤩 We could all take a lesson on kindness from this little angel. #goodness

Imagine being a passenger in a flight and some entitled Karen starts freaking out-absolute chaos!😱 "I WILL REMEMBER YOU! We see an 86-year-old mixing paint at Home Depot and the first thing many of us do is feel is sorry for him— like he must need the money. Poor guy can’t retire in this economy😔 But…that’s not always the case. I loved seeing this interview with Len. He started working at the Home Depot paint counter at 80. Why? because his wife told him to get off the couch and stop watching the damn TV🤣 Six years later he’s still showing up, still smiling, still doing the work. He’s doing it because he loves it…Not because retirement failed him. That’s the part we skip. About 19 percent of people over 65 are still working. Hundreds of thousands of people work far past 80. It’s not just about the paycheck, it’s about having a purpose. Surveys of people who went back to work keep saying the same things: stay busy, stay sharp, see people, have a reason to get dressed. When my dad retired he drove my mother crazy. He turned her into his “purpose.” Telling her how to do the dishes, telling her how to do the chores, telling her everything she needed to do constantly. I don’t know if my dad represents all men, but I do know men like to have a purpose. So the next time you see that old guy at the paint counter, don’t jump to pity. Have a conversation with him, light up his day. Whether he’s there for a purpose or for the money, a smile and a conversation will go a long way. #Retirement #Purpose #Work
