Too good not to post, so here’s Dom Szoboszlai on international break.

I don’t think anyone inside Anfield would’ve known what they were walking out to that day. It was like the end of the world - no order, fans on rooftops, on signs, on a Greggs truck, just Liverpool fans absolutely fucking everywhere. A day that’ll live with me forever. 🔴✊🏻

I was surprised at one point it was referenced that Liverpool are not one of the biggest clubs in the world, but don’t you worry, I corrected them. 🔴 My take on Alexander Isak being painted as the villain - and whether Liverpool FC should even sign a player acting this way at Newcastle United. ⚫️

Florian Wirtz is clearly a top player, and the goal shows that. But what is our identity right now? We don’t look like Liverpool. Despite his form, playing him on the left doesn’t work. Another week and another unconvincing performance where we’re living from week to week. ⤵️

How beautiful is this version of YNWA from the Liverpool Philharmonic, dedicated to Diogo and André Jota last week. It’s so powerful and personal it deserves to be played at Anfield for the first game of the season. Whoever at Liverpool FC needs to sort it — make it happen. ❤️🎻

Speaking on The Anfield Wrap about Salah and last night’s fallout, I offer what I believe is a more human level of criticism. Life certainly isn’t black and white. And it certainly isn’t with a football club in both crisis and, more importantly, in mourning. 🇪🇬👑 Full show for free here 👇

Defending what I think is unfair criticism of this Liverpool team — on maximum points, I must add. The current champions of England, doing the business week in, week out, including against Arsenal. People seem to forget the multitude of mitigating factors since our last good performance in April. Always a pleasure though Fanalysis Sky Sports News 🔴

Rival fans are obsessed with how much we’ve spent, forgetting we’ve got the best data-driven transfer model in the football world. This isn’t something new - it’s always been about signing the right player.

Here’s the clip I would’ve used, which explains that we’re not upset that he left - it was 𝐇𝐎𝐖 he left. His underhand tactics which were meticulously executed while gaslighting the fans, alongside a blatant detachment from reality to his new celebrity life. 🔴 Fanalysis

Another defence of Mohamed Salah, but this time on Sky Sports News today. I went on a little rant because I can’t understand anyone questioning what he has done for this club. As well as questioning the role of Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes in this mess. 🔴👇 Fanalysis

Enjoyed talking about the narrative being forced upon us from a “certain reporter in the North East” Luke Edwards and those delusional Newcastle United fans earlier. No matter how much you wish it, it won’t come true, lads. Isak is at the perfect club with the best fans in the world. He can’t not succeed at a club like ours.

We’ve all got opinions on Curtis Jones — usually while waiting for him to release the ball. But this isn’t about agendas or guesswork. We’ve gone through the numbers to see who Jones really is as a performer, alongside the armband row and everything he’s said publicly. Genuinely worth a watch. Click the link 🔗
