This radio conversation took place as Gasly was leaving the pits. It has absolutely nothing to do with any instructions that might have been given to Gasly, which never happened. (You can see the evidence in the video, taken from Gasly’s radio feed) This is yet another example of the relentless harassment Gasly is subjected to after every race weekend, for no valid reason. (Someone sent me this screenshot)

🔵 Pierre Gasly : « J'ai mal démarré, je n'avais pas de puissance au départ, je pense avoir perdu deux places, mais j'ai réussi à remonter. Malheureusement, après un arrêt au stand raté qui nous a fait reculer, j'ai encore dû me battre pour remonter. Ce fut une course assez frustrante. Je suis resté coincé derrière Liam pendant un bon moment. Nous nous sommes battus, il m'a redoublé, etc. C'était un peu délicat, mais malheureusement, à la fin, nous avons perdu du terrain et nous avons terminé juste hors des points, ce qui est un peu décevant. Surtout quand on regarde les écarts avec les voitures de tête, Audi, Bortoleto et Lindblad, nous sommes à des années-lumière, nous devons nous mettre au travail. » #F1 #BelgianGP

🔵 Pierre Gasly up against Franco Colapinto right from the first lap ! Pierre didn’t see Franco at Turn 6, as he was focused on his attack on Ocon. It is important to consider both sides of the argument before you start crying and hurling insults at others. 🙂 #F1 #BritishGP
