Turns out Eiichiro Oda personally requested Mackenyu to bulk up his neck. Macken freaked out not knowing how to do that, he ended up working hard to build his whole physique for Zoro He was the only one among the cast who was specifically asked to do that 😭

One of the best addition to Zoro’s arc in S2 is having Mihawk haunting him from the aftermath of his S1 defeat. I also love the implication that at this point in the story, Zoro has hallucinated Mihawk so many times, that he used it to train himself daily by covering his eyes
