Today was the most challenging day we've ever faced. Experiencing a flood for the first time was truly transformative. Just as our home was about to be overwhelmed, our neighbors stepped in with sandbags that saved the day. The birds have found shelter in my workshop and are dry. Our sheep are securely situated in the elevated top paddock, away from the waterlogged stables. We're hoping the worst is behind us, and we'll evaluate the damage come morning.
