I don’t know if it gets much more Miami than this! 😂 Scott and I were driving back from my haircut, stuck in rush hour traffic, and who do we see departing off of RWY 09 at MIA? Lufthansa 747 departing for Frankfurt! Please excuse my elation, I realize how nice it is for these videos to be taken outside with the wind blowing so you can’t hear my commentary 😂😂😂

Would you say this is a stable approach? 🤠 another day, another part 91 cowboy ripping it in to KSDL.

Wanna see the first video ever taken of me landing the jet? Well, here it is! My fiancé came to the airport to pick me up and captured this little landing. It doesn’t seem like much, but it’s really cool to think how far I’ve come in the last year alone. He’s been such a gift to me in my aviation career. He’s constantly helping me improve my skills on the controls and in the flight deck. I feel very blessed to have him in my life. You can also hear one of the strangers next to him say “butter”, which is true. It was my first soft landings in the jet 😂

Eye spy with my little eye Jeff Bezos’ new G700! Some of you may have guessed that the formation flight of 3 blacked out helicopters belonged to him, but what a special treat to see his new Gulfstream show up too. Apparently his crew comes in every so often, they switch PAX, and some continue back to Van Horn, others commute away. The other day I believe their space program Blue Origin successfully launched from Van Horn 6 passengers so they may dip their toes into space. I saw the jet contrail when I landed, what an achievement. Happy Turkey Day-Eve! I hope all of you who are traveling have safe skies and enjoyable celebration of thanks with your friends and family.

While taxiing back to parking after unloading the freight this evening, I saw a plane on approach ripping it in, and I thought, “man, I bet there’s no PAX on there.” I assumed it to be military. But once I parked and chocked my plane… I saw it was the 10 Tanker! I wish I could’ve shared the approach, it was sick.

The other day I was sequenced in to land with this Navy plane ripping the pattern. I wish I captured one of her touch and gos, she sounded awesome, but after letting off pax and giving my fuel order to the rampers, she was ready to return to base. 🥲 I’m not quite sure what plane this is, do y’all know?

Well this isn’t a formation you see every day! Anyone know who this fleet belongs to? 😎

Guys I saw my first 747 IRL!! It was so awesome. I had just landed and when we switched to ground I heard the Giant callsign on freq and I turned and looked at my copilot and I said “DUDE it’s the 747!” He was not nearly as hype as I was. It was awesome because we taxied behind the 74 and we had to hold one taxiway back from them until they moved, maybe for clearance for their size or maybe because of jet blast? Once ground said Giant would be released in 4 minutes, we parked quick, and I managed to snag this little video (just showing the roll and rotate) from the top of the stairs on the PC-12. I was surprised how quiet she is. I wish I could’ve ran to the edge of the ramp to get a better video.

Well, we saw her again, the Queen of the skies! After a long 6 leg day, we were taxiing back to the ramp & I saw this girl getting booted up ready to go. It worked out perfectly, I post flighted my girl and ran to the edge of the ramp to see this girl roll out. Also yesterday, I went down to Miami to pick up some clothes from my old neighbor in NM who was in town (I accidentally had some athletic wear mailed to my old address lol) and when I was leaving Miami, I saw my first A380 in the wild! I wanted to get a pic but I was in rush hour and the driver in south Florida are nuts so no way I was doing that.
