Hey everyone! Before we play our first match, I’d like to share a bit about our offseason. This is one of the most important times of the year for any team, and we made sure to make the most of it. We started tryouts with only 8 days of rest after the previous season ended. We didn’t waste a second. We wanted to be ready, and to do so, we tested between 30 and 35 players, becoming the team that conducted the most tryouts. We gave opportunities to everyone: players with previous experience, those without, T2 players, ranked grinders… If we saw potential, we opened the doors. Our goal was clear from the start: find young grinders hungry to compete and eager to learn. We were looking for talent we could develop and take to the top here at GIANTX. This reflects our philosophy: not just signing stars but building them, betting on the future, and nurturing young talent. I also want to give a massive shoutout to GX Cloud and Liquid purp0 , who worked tirelessly to make this offseason a success. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to secure not only the best players in terms of skill but also those who align perfectly in terms of synergy and personal values. It’s been an intense and exciting offseason full of key decisions. Now, we’re ready to take on the new season with everything we’ve got. In this first preseason tournament, our mission is clear: to build a solid foundation for our team’s growth this year. While results aren’t our main goal, every round will be an opportunity to experiment, assess our progress, and reinforce the fundamentals that will make the difference when it matters most. Here are the key areas we’re focusing on: 1️⃣ Executing the right plays in advantageous scenarios, like a 5v4. 2️⃣ Knowing how to respond and adapt in disadvantageous situations. 3️⃣ Closing rounds with precision and determination. We won’t reveal everything we’ve prepared just yet, but these fundamentals are essential because they work on any map and with any composition. This tournament is just the first step on a long journey, and it all starts with mastering the basics. #WeAreGiantx #GXWIN
