Your agents suck when using the web because 85% of it doesn't have an API. Browserbase gives them everything they need to do work online. Leading AI companies like Ramp, Lovable, and Clay trust us to power agents that do real work on behalf of real people. With a single API key, your agent gets everything it needs to navigate the wild web: browsers, search, fetch, identity, a sandbox runtime, and model gateway. Stop waiting on integrations, build agents that can browse and interact with the web just like humans.

I've been using Claude Code completely wrong. I gave it a custom skill and Browser CLI tools and letting it do work for me. It can open pages, click buttons, fill in forms all from your authenticated browser. Just published it to the marketplace, install it in 2 commands.

Yesterday, Airtable got acquired for $1.285B by Bending Spoons. What people don't know is that Hyperagent spun out into it's own company. Howie Liu (Howie Liu) is going all in on agents. On this episode of Navigators, filmed a few weeks ago, I sat down with Howie to talk through Hyperagent, why the product form factor has to structurally change with every leap in model capability, and the lean, agent-first companies being born out of all of it. 00:00 Why every model leap forces the product to change shape 02:51 Spinning Hyperagent out of Airtable 05:56 Why Hyperagent bets on horizontal, against the conventional wisdom 10:45 OpenClaw and the overnight-agent stories 13:34 Hyperagent is to OpenClaw what the Macintosh was to Linux 14:57 Why Howie built the Hyperagent MVP himself over the holidays 18:18 "Harness Squared": why the real value lives above the model 28:57 Hyperagent and the rise of lean, agent-first companies Checkout Navigators, our new pod on Youtube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts!

LangChain's CEO says they built their gateway a year too late, and it's still costing them. I sat down with Harrison Chase, Co-Founder & CEO of LangChain, to talk about what's changed since LangChain started as a side project in 2022, why sub-agents rarely work the way people expect, and why LangChain now runs its own hiring, content, and coding work through internal agents in Slack. 00:00 Why "I use agents for everything" is a red flag in an interview 01:21 How LangChain started as a fall 2022 side project 05:18 From LangSmith to LangGraph: rebuilding as the ground kept shifting 09:06 The gateway LangChain built a year too late 13:23 Code mode: why agents writing code beats human-style tools 19:04 Should the agent run inside the sandbox, or call it as a tool? 28:31 The agent identity problem: whose credentials does it use? 45:43 Running LangChain's own GTM, content, and coding agents in Slack 48:34 The AI slop problem, and why they built a Slack emoji for it The full pod is also available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify.

OpenAI's own research says 80% of US GDP could be automated by agents today. So why isn't it? swyx 🗽 @aiDotEngineer joined me on Navigators to break down what's actually holding back the adoption of agents (and it's not the models). 00:41 The three acts of the AI boom, and what act we're in now 05:11 Pre-training, mid-training, post-training, explained 10:12 Agent labs vs model labs: Cursor, Sierra, and domain bets 15:01 Why 80% of GDP could be automated, and what's stopping it 16:40 The chip and memory shortage nobody's talking about 19:11 Why "diffusion is cope" split the AI industry 20:48 What's next after the AI IPOs Watch the full conversation on Navigators, also on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

If I could only follow one person on X, it would be Aaron Levie, CEO of Box. We sat down to speak about why the REAL economy hasn't felt AI yet, the "model overhang" between capability and adoption, and what founders should actually build now that software is cheap. 00:00 - Cold open: agents use data like people do 01:53 - Is Redwood City the new AI epicenter? 05:18 - 90% of enterprise data is unstructured and was never automatable 07:46 - The model overhang: capability is outpacing adoption 10:35 - Why coding got the fastest AI takeoff 16:24 - Inside Box's agent-first rebuild 19:15 - Headless SaaS: agents will outnumber humans 100:1 25:41 - Model routing + why the applied layer wins, even bitter-lesson-pilled 27:45 - GTM is the new moat Checkout Navigators, our new pod on Youtube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts!

Is MCP dead? Michael Grinich (CEO of WorkOS) says it's better than ever and become the strongest intent signal in your funnel. WorkOS is building the auth, permissions, and registration layer for that world, the same enterprise plumbing it sold to Vercel and Plaid, now sold to AI companies. I sat down with Michael to talk about it in episode 4 of Navigators. His argument: your coding agent already picks your vendors, but signup forms are built to block automated traffic, so the agent stalls at the front door and waits for a human to paste in an API key. We got into: 00:00 "Stripe for enterprise features": what WorkOS actually sells 02:44 How an SSO and SAML company ended up as AI infrastructure 04:13 Why AI companies can't meander up-market the way Slack, Dropbox, and Figma did 06:54 The biggest mistake founders make: staying in the pre-PMF experimentation mindset 09:51 Why nothing works unless the management team is AI pilled first 10:47 "Claude day": pairing engineers with finance, legal, and ops once a month 13:36 auth.md, the missing front door for agents 15:26 Why registration, not tooling, is the next growth channel 16:59 Is MCP dead? The higher-intent signal hiding in MCP connections 19:35 Why SDKs are going away and coding agents write their own 23:09 "The super cycle of all super cycles": AI amplifies labor, it doesn't just disrupt it Thanks for joining me on the pod Michael Grinich!
