Highguard’s dev team reflects back on the game’s development and its signature PvP Raid Mode and takes a deeper look at every aspect of the game including: Wardens and weapons, maps and bases, mounts and raid tools, and the history of this mystical land called Highguard.

So what exactly IS Highguard? We're so glad you asked. At its core, Highguard is a new mode, between two teams of three Wardens each. To start, each player chooses a Warden, characters who combine tactical skill with powerful magic. ⚔️

Atticus joins forces with Ekon, the legendary monster-slayer. Together with Condor, the team journeys deep into uncharted lands, venturing farther into Highguard than any Wardens have. Watch “Skydrift” now to uncover what secrets the lost relic could unveil⛰

Soul Well is a dark relic from a lost age 🌙 With an elevated altar for strong sightlines, fortified subterranean room, and a hardened rear keep, this all-new base is capable of claiming even the strongest of souls

You’ve got your team of Wardens, now it’s time to choose your base 🏰 Prior to venturing into Highguard, players are randomly presented with four options for their home base which they'll then vote on as a team.

Embrace the darkness in Highguard Episode 2: Incursion 🌒 Strike fear among your prey with the new exotic Barghast mount, dive into new Warden Ekon's past with the Ekon Origins Bundle, make your way through an all-new War Chest, and more!

Getting the enemy base to 0 health is how you win the game💥 🏰 The path to victory, however, can look different from match to match including the straight forward approach of blowing up a generator, or successfully defending your own base!

While teams will fight for control of the Shieldbreaker, it takes a few minutes to form. 🌀 During this time, players should explore the map and loot up. But be aware, the other team is doing the same thing, so skirmishes are inevitable.

Once the shield of the defending team's base has been broken, the raid begins 💥 The attacking team will need to sabotage and destroy objectives within the enemy's base all while that opposing team is actively defending against it⚔️

In Skydrift, prepare to navigate through caverns once home to great winged-beasts, spar off against one another in an ancient ring of stone, and ride across colossal chain bridges. Venture across our newest map, Skydrift, now! ☁

You’ve selected your Warden and your base, now you're transported to Highguard ⚔️ In your base, you have one minute to plan your defenses and pick your starting loadout. Once the defensive phase is up, your base unlocks and your team mounts up and rides out.
