Vishnu Vijay Playing Indrajaalam as a solo. No words :) The way he goes across octaves towards the end is magical.

Anu Malik on Chunari: I was walking in Goa and this tune just came to me. Meanwhile the Konkani classic Channeachi Rati was already waiting in Goa for decades. Turns out Nolan’s Inception gang operates out of Goa.

Shashwat Sachdev takes #Dhurandhar2 to next level. Thoughts on my picks 🧵 Phir Se - #ArijitSingh s spiritual sequel to 'Vida Karo' in Raag Khamaj arriving at the climax in both movies. Veena interludes break you Heartbreaking we can't here this artistry from Arijit in movies😔

Exactly my thoughts when i heard it… if Ilaiyaraaja sees this :) .. we all remember how he scolded (in a nice way) A R Rahman when he played a chord not in the original

#Ilaiyaraaja takes us back to Asaiya Kathula, Malai Kovil territory in Muthumani from Dorothy. That constant percussive pulse that keeps your head involuntarily nodding with a melodic base underneath that never lets the rhythm overwhelm the song. IR = Incredible Raja.

Bollywood's 90s action era had no business hiding a classical gem in raag bhupali or mohanam sung by Hariharan and KS Chitra in a Guddu Dhanoa film :) You can guess where the inspiration Dilip/Sameer Sen had from.

Mehdi Hassan Saab would have smiled 🙏 When two young voices ( bangla?) Sharaj and Rhrisav carry Ahmad Faraz's pain with this much grace — ghazal isn't dying. It's just changing hands.

Unpopular opinion: Harris Jayaraj in the early 2000s was ARR's best student. He'd take a Rahman blueprint—same singer, raga, and beat—and rearrange into a fresh, original hit. Exhibit A: Ithu Thana (Harris) vs Engu Enathu (ARR). There are many examples, do you have any?
