Yesterday was a historic milestone in my life, POESIA COM ELOS held its first opening at CasaNUA.6529 . This video covers the first stage of the event, where participants from several collective rehearsals came together in this quick montage of 3 poses. Yesterday we celebrated 8 years of Poesia com Elos, a milestone of resistance and artistic freedom. Created as a manifesto for plurality and acceptance of bodies and souls, the project faced censure and challenges, but never lost its strength thanks to the support of friends, participants and supporters. Each rehearsal brought courage, healing and reframing, transforming art into a tool of truth and acceptance. This project defines my trajectory as a woman and artist, guiding my purpose. I deeply thank everyone who fought alongside me and believed in the transformative power of art. We were taught to hate our bodies. I ask you: Who is this for? For us and our happiness, which is not, let us be resolute in not obeying the norm. The understanding of our body, place and its capacity is always being restricted by concepts that seem more like prisons. The world, when faced with a free person in the first instance, censures and rejects them, but there is a literacy to freedom that the more we show ourselves to be safe within it and resilient to our purpose, our circle adjusts and truly understands us. It takes strength, certainty and insistence on the message and the ideal. But whoever has love in them, sooner or later will revere a soul inside a free body. In our latest Poesia com Elos gathering, the power of the collective came alive in each creation. A diverse group, fully present, transforming pain into poetry, bodies into manifestos, and reflections into movement. We sublimated deep questions — personal, social, and collective. We voiced criticism against war, embraced vulnerability, and dove into philosophical reflections. Each scene, each gesture, each glance carried a fragment of who we are as a group and as a society. Sharing with you the opening event of the first physical digital art museum in Brazil. Poesia com Elos was present exhibiting two of its series: rereadings and mandalas.
