Some people forget that Cooper Flagg reclassified into the ‘25 Draft Class and that he’s ONLY 18 years old He’s the YOUNGEST player in the league & should be lacing up for Duke, but, instead, was a consensus #1 overall pick And he’s doing stuff like this

Danny Wolf is not just dribbling into step-back 3s, but he’s also dribble-driving and busting out sky hooks Offensively, he’s checking a lot of the boxes you want out of a modern big and he’s also showing he can share the floor with multiple other bigs

Yaxel Lendeborg missed three years of High School ball because of academic struggles He worked to improve his grades and was able to JUST make a team before the season ended, and performed well enough to make it to a community college, where he then became the NJCAA’s all-time leading rebounder He then transferred to UAB, where he became one of two players in Division I history to record over 600 points, 400 rebounds and 150 assists in a single season. The other player is Larry Bird. Afterwards, he transferred to Michigan and performed well enough to be a potential first rounder in the ‘25 draft But he stayed and wanted to build upon that legacy and lift up his draft stock even more. And he did just that, becoming a national champion and a potential lottery level draft pick. Yaxel’s story isn’t one that should be ridiculed. It should be one that’s praised — because worked hard at every level to get to where he’s at

VJ Edgecombe was my 4th best prospect on my big board, in a tier with Ace Bailey, as both had near identical grades At the time, I argued Ace was the better pick for Philly because of his size & how his shotmaking would synergize I don’t mind being wrong

This is the part of Ace Bailey’s game that had GMs and scouts enamored: high-level shotmaking and footwork that can evolve into being a true NBA-level 1st option The question is how well he can does this against NBA-level defenders with more athleticism and size

Give God Shammgod a ton of credit, but also give Jett Howard his flowers for taking what he’s been taught and applying it on the court I’m not sure we’ve ever seen Jett move with this much fluidity & confidence at the NBA level, especially in the regular szn in non-garbage time

Victor Wembanyama after being asked about his thoughts on the environment: “Of course, I care a lot about it, and I feel a certain guilt about polluting so much as someone who flies 41 times a season. But..I want to have an impact, and I want to counteract this negative carbon footprint through whatever impact I can, financially [or] socially, I want to have an impact for the future...Investing, yes, but not for profit.”

It “not [being] a debate” to the GMs is less of a knock on Cam Boozer or AJ Dybantsa but more of a nod to how gifted Darryn Peterson is Don’t let an unhealthy season at Kansas fool you Darryn is legitimately the most complete guard prospect in a decade

If you don’t know who Nikola Kusturica is already, it’s time to familiarize yourself He’s already being crowned as the next Serbian to carry on Nikola Jokic’s legacy by becoming a star in the NBA And it’s easy to see why He moves incredibly fluidly for his size, with a guard’s handle and the ability to get into his shot like nothing Pair that with his plus athleticism and playmaking feel and you don’t have to look very hard to understand why he’s already considered a top-pick in the 2028 draft

These dudes sitting here with a straight face saying TJ McConnell couldn’t hang in “1v1s” against people like “Nas” when he was frying people in isolation against a historic OKC defense Get the fuck out of here with that, lmao

I love Teague and his guys, but the Orlando Magic’s entire identity has been rooted in grittiness and toughness, with Jalen Suggs being at the core of that Yes, Desmond Bane adds another layer and more edge But the Magic have had toughness in spades already

I’m not saying a team should EVER feel comfortable trading away an unprotected pick in a loaded draft But Derik Queen is making one hell of a case to convince us that he was worth it

I’m higher than most on Brooklyn’s selection of Danny Wolf I think Brooklyn wants a roster that maximizes fluidity on offense by adding plus ball handlers and high feel players across all positions And Wolf checks that box with his guard like skillset

Keep in mind, Christian Anderson shot 41.5% from 3 on a relatively high volume And over half of his 3PAs were unassisted and self created Add that on top of a strong 74.2% at the rim and a 2.3 ast/to ratio, and you have yourself a potential steal

Kon Knueppel (2.92) has a faster shuttle run than VJ Edgecombe (2.93) A higher standing vertical jump (31.5 inches) than Harper (30.5), Richardson (30.5), and Edgecombe (30.0) A better max vert (36.5 inches) than Flagg (35.5) and Bailey (34.5) So can we stop saying he can’t hang with NBA athletes? The kid plays with a ton of pace and patience, but he’s also got the athleticism to keep up, if needed Shoutout Jim for the 🎥

Nikola Kusturica, at just 17, already carries the world on his shoulders He’s already been tabbed as Serbia’s greatest young talent and JUST signed a $12 million NIL deal to play at UCLA When you’re that highly acclaimed AND that highly paid, the spotlight will only grow But stars are meant to perform under a spotlight, and Kusturica looks every bit like a future (super)star His ability to handle the ball and get into his shots is incredibly advanced for his size and age He’s also already scoring at all 3 levels, using a mixture of pace and physicality And, to top it off, his work ethic and motor are elite, so he projects as a defensive leader and the backbone of a team on both ends of the court

oh my god, Will Riley. The kid is really, really special People with his size and skillset don’t grow on trees, and the glimpses of brilliance are getting not just getting brighter but also flashing more often He was a draft day steal, imo.
