🍺 Thinking of going down the pub for a pint with your mates? Well think again, because Westminster Council's new draft licensing policy recommends removing opportunities for ‘vertical drinking’. London has a great culture of standing outside pubs having a pint after work. Councils need to stop being such killjoys.

I have had more abuse on this platform than anywhere else but I still oppose any attempt by government to ban or control X. It is not their job to protect us from opinions. Free speech means just that, free. Censorship only protects those in power who have something to hide. And that is exactly why they want X silenced. And that is exactly why it must not.

Shabana Mahmood claimed that “Muslim hatred is off the charts.” I’m Muslim and I’m British. Born here. Raised here. I don’t feel hatred. But when people come here, refuse to integrate, expect Britain to change for them and then accuse the rest of us of racism, it makes people angry. And rightly so. Wanting to preserve British values isn’t racist. It’s natural for people to want to protect their culture and their identity. That’s not racism that’s patriotism. Labour really needs to stop demonising people for loving their own country.

London is my home. It’s where I grew up, where I built my life and where I’m raising my children. And I refuse to accept that the city I love must inevitably change for the worse. Immigration should work for Britain and for Londoners, not leave communities feeling that their neighbourhoods are changing beyond recognition and that nobody ever asked them. And when people come to this country and commit serious crimes, there can be no excuses. Londoners should never be expected to sacrifice their safety because our borders and immigration system have failed. We are allowed to care about the character of our communities. We are allowed to demand safe streets and secure borders. And we are allowed to say that enough is enough. I love this city too much to simply stand by and watch.

Today, James O’Brien compared me to Lord Haw-Haw, a Nazi sympathiser who was hanged for treason. Why? For agreeing with people I met in NYC that London is dangerous. Just that. Two hours on air. LBC chose that moment to clip and post. Clear agenda. Here’s my response 👇
