Lebanon’s Youth: We Have to Coexist… But How? We asked students from several universities across Lebanon about peaceful coexistence in the country. Some acknowledged that it may be difficult, but stressed that it is far from impossible. Others said that those who are able to foster coexistence within their own families and homes can also help build it on a national scale. For some, coexistence simply means sharing the same space while respecting one another’s freedom, dignity, and opinions. Rubio: We Discussed Restarting Direct U.S.-Lebanon Flights with Aoun U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the talks focused on attracting more U.S. and international investment to Lebanon, as well as the possibility of restarting direct flights between the United States and Lebanon. “We’re going to start a process with them and see if that’s possible and when that can be done,” Rubio said.
