Footage of the Marathon players view when NAPainter_ GCX 2026 ✈️ and crew exploited their way into the Compiler clear room and jumped a team as they were doing the Compiler boss fight on Cryo Archive. For clarity, there is not supposed to be any way into this room unless you beat compiler. Painter spent hours discovering a map exploit where he could "out of bounds" from the map and get into that room and jump people who were finally getting their compiler kills. He's on his stream right now gloating that he's spoken to a Bungie dev about it and they promised they wouldn't ban him for it so now him and his party are running it all night to ruin peoples compiler runs. 𝙰𝚗𝚍𝚢 𝚂𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚋𝚞𝚛𝚢 / Ziegler ....did someone from Marathon Development Team really tell him that he wouldn't get banned for this? Because this sucks.

My Marathon hot take is that I was wrong about Duos and should've never asked for it. Played around 10 rounds and its just people hiding in corners, buildings or skulking around the edge of the map. That hits different in solos because in solos it feels inherent to that experience and plays out like a stealth game. But in duos that doesn't feel right and its not very engaging at least to me anyway, to be honest its mostly boring. Its easy loot though because most of the people in the mode are clearly scared to properly push engagements and would rather hide behind walls and rocks, so play a destroyer and go for maximum aggression to guarantee kills. But yeah Marathon Development Team and Ziegler I don't think Duos is it. The pacing of PvP feels really off as a duo and overall I don't think it will benefit the game in general. Solos and Trios feels like a good set. Happy to be proven wrong in the long term though. I'm fully ready to be crucified int he comments though by people who don't like the idea of making friends in the game.

I'm done... Is what I would say if I was a little bitch. But excusing the fact I should've absolutely seen that yellow sniper light (That's me being bad and I totally own that). How are we being pushed in Steerage in about 2 minutes? Something has got to be done about the spawns and matchmaking in Cryo Archive man. Its genuinely the only standout negative for me (and from what I'm seeing many others) on Marathon right now. The map is so damn cool but just being rolled like this withing mere minutes from spawning is just anti fun. Really hope the devs come up with a solution for this but they've been so quick on implementing other things I'm starting to believe they're also stumped on how to deal with this. Game still absolutely rules though so we ball!
