During further checking, an unidentified semi-solid substance was reportedly discovered concealed in a stitched portion of his undergarment. The man claimed to be an NRI residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but his identity and residency status have not been independently confirmed. What evidence justified the death penalty? And why does Bangladesh say it wasn’t informed before its own citizens were executed? Viral claims suggest they were a married couple punished for kissing, but these details remain unverified. Respecting religion is one thing. Justifying an irreversible punishment without public transparency is another. And to everyone who speaks about human rights, women’s rights and justice, whether Rahul Gandhi, Swara Bhasker or anyone else, the question is simple: Will your principles remain the same when the country being questioned is Saudi Arabia? No selective outrage. No selective humanity. Religion deserves respect. Human life deserves dignity. And no government should be beyond accountability.

The Supreme Court has ordered fresh elections in 50 municipal wards in Punjab: 28 wards of Patiala Municipal Corporation, all 15 wards of Baghapurana Municipal Council, and 7 wards of Dharamkot Municipal Council. The re-election process has to be completed within six weeks and will be under unusually strict judicial monitoring. The background is the December 2024 Punjab municipal elections. Delhi Police have detained YouTuber Dhruv Rathee from his residence in Sector 56, Gurugram, according to information provided. Police reportedly entered the house at 7:48 AM after his mother opened the door. Around 50 police personnel had reportedly gathered outside the residence late at night. Rathee had come to take part in the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest over CEC Gyanesh Kumar and the SIR matter at Jantar Mantar.

Captain Smit Machchhar did not just help save the passengers, he protected India’s name too by showing extraordinary courage even after being stabbed. My analysis is that this incident may have implications beyond one flight, especially for UAE Israel ties, I2U2 and the larger IMEC architecture. PM Modi and President Murmu have praised him. Brave Indian Captain Smit Machchhar🇮🇳, despite reportedly being stabbed by the Omani co-pilot and being seriously injured and covered in blood, managed to get the cockpit door opened, allowing passengers and crew to intervene. Off duty pilots onboard then reportedly helped take control of the aircraft and bring everyone to safety. Flydubai FZ1073 was carrying around 174 passengers, including 27 children, with most reportedly Israeli. During the incident, the aircraft plunged nearly 14,000 feet in less than a minute before eventually landing safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has described it as an attempted “jihadist terror attack”, although the exact motive remains under investigation. Saudi Arabia allowed the emergency landing, but reportedly refused Israel’s request to send Israeli military aircraft to collect its passengers. What happened inside that cockpit could have ended very differently. The courage shown by the Indian captain, crew, passengers and off duty pilots deserves recognition.
