17-year-old Surya Pratap Chauhan was stabbed to death in Ghaziabad’s Khoda area. His family has accused Asad, Nawab, Farhan, Atif and Sarik, and reports say three arrests have been made. Family and eyewitness claims say Surya was called near the area and allegedly asked, “Have you seen a goat being slaughtered?” before he was attacked with knives. Police are also looking at an old dispute between them as a possible reason. But one question remains: if it was only an old fight, why was Surya allegedly called there, surrounded, and stabbed to death? Whatever the motive, this was not a normal fight. It was a brutal murder, and the accused must face the strictest legal action.

Surya Chauhan murder case | Khoda police station team arrests Nawab (father of accused Asad), Farhan and Atif, from near Chaudhary Charan Singh Gate. Upon interrogation, accused Farhan said: On 28.05.26, at 15.00, Asad had an argument with Suryapratap over riding a bike. Asad told his father, Nawab, and us about this. We then planned to teach him a lesson and, at around 15.30, cornered Suryapratap in Navneet Vihar, Gali No. 4. I gave Asad the knife, and Asad’s father told him to end the story. Asad then stabbed Suryapratap in the stomach. When Suryapratap fell down, covered in blood, we all thought he was dead and left.

Correction: He won both Nandigram and Bhabanipur. Suvendu Adhikari is now BJP’s strongest CM face in Bengal. First he defeated Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram in 2021. Mamata returned to the Assembly through Bhabanipur bypoll. Now in 2026, Suvendu shifted the fight to Bhabanipur and defeated Mamata again.

PM Modi’s short UAE visit was mainly about India’s energy security. India currently has strategic petroleum reserve capacity of around 39 million barrels, with about 29 million barrels reportedly stored in March 2026. Now UAE’s ADNOC may store up to 30 million barrels linked to India’s reserve system. This is not free oil or instant delivery — it is a potential storage framework. Fujairah is also important because it is outside the Strait of Hormuz, on the India-facing route. If oil is stored there, India can access it more easily during a Hormuz crisis. Russia has also assured India on energy supplies. So India is building two shields: UAE for reserve backup, Russia for supply continuity. This is not about petrol becoming cheaper tomorrow. It is about India preparing before a bigger energy crisis hits. And when leaders ask citizens to conserve fuel, the real question is: should they also lead by example?
