I warned Biden and Harris directly: Our silence on Gaza was morally, legally, and politically wrong. We were told it wasn't in the data. That wasn't strategy – it was risk aversion dressed up as wisdom. Democrats cannot make that same mistake again this midterm season.

I am proud to endorse Dr. Adam Hamawy. As a physician, Dr. Hamawy knows intimately our broken healthcare system and the need for Medicare for All. His extraordinary record of public service is exactly what we need in Congress. I look forward to working alongside him to create the America we all deserve.

Immigrants are NOT criminals, and immigration is NOT a crime. Don’t be fooled by Trump’s lies.

I’ve been in politics for a long time – I can handle whatever disrespect Pam Bondi throws at me. But I won’t stand for the way she dismissed the Epstein survivors during her hearing. These women deserve an Attorney General who will seek justice, not another one of Donald Trump’s personal attorneys.

Cuba has a healthcare system so advanced that American patients have traveled there to access treatments they couldn't get or afford at home. Our government's illegal embargo blocks that access. So Americans keep paying more, getting less, and going bankrupt while Washington makes sure they can't look elsewhere. End the embargo. Pass Medicare for All.

The immigration system is a CIVIL system. It is NOT a crime to be undocumented.

Private insurance has no place in health care. They don't need to exist, period.

May Day hits different when you're an immigrant. In 2006, on May 1st, millions of immigrants walked off their jobs and into the streets in what became known as "A Day Without Immigrants." Janitors, nannies, restaurant workers, farmworkers, people who couldn't afford to miss a single paycheck showed up anyway. Because they refused to let this country pretend they didn't exist. I came to America at 16. I never forgot what that movement meant. Today, with ICE terrorizing our communities and this administration treating immigrants like criminals, we showed up again. Workers. Immigrants. Families. In the streets of Seattle, refusing to be invisible. We are still here. And we are not staying quiet.

We saw the way these predators and pedophiles talked about women in their conversations with Jeffrey Epstein. It is important now more than ever that we do not let up in the fight for justice for these victims. I will continue to do everything in my power to hold these enablers accountable. I was honored to join Ro Khanna at a roundtable for survivors of Epstein to discuss how we can hold these perpetrators accountable and bring justice once and for all. We need to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Now.
