How incredible are our tunnel books we’ve made this week for #WorldBookDay 😍 They are based on Crater Lake by Jennifer Killick and I think they’ve done the most fantastic job of understanding the spooky atmosphere of the book! 🐝

Upcycled DVD cases into mini whiteboards! Not only can they be used to show answers, but sheets can go into the inserts & become wipeable, & key info can be stored inside! 🤩 The kids loved them as much as me! A fab idea from Twinkl Resources #TwinklAmbassador

Next term, Y5 & 6 will have their Careers Week ✨ They will each get a pack with activities for 35+ roles (all made alongside someone in that job!) and start thinking about what they’d like to do in the future. We also try and have visitors where we can! I can’t wait 👏🏻😃

One of my favourite creative writing lessons EVER! Each square had a picture behind it (all from Noun Project!) and every new sentence had to include the new mystery item - numbers were chosen by the children! Really made them be creative and play with language. So much fun!
