The Odyssey cast says Christopher Nolan runs on 10 cups of scalding black tea, never eats, and nobody has ever seen him go to the bathroom on set. Robert Pattinson: "We're talking 10 cups of black tea. You just see a thermos with so much steam coming out. It's literally boiling hot water. No milk in there." Tom Holland: "And I don't think I ever saw him go to the bathroom. I know that's not what they want us to be talking about right now. It just doesn't happen." John Leguizamo: "He's always on set. He's always present. Never leaves, doesn't go to the bathroom, doesn't eat. He stands right behind the camera, which I love! The director's eyes are right there, and it makes you feel even more present."

What he'd done was give me an hour-long boat ride to sequester myself and get my mind right." Matt Damon: "'We'll shoot till we're happy', which means till you're happy too. Anybody with a SAG card, given that kind of support... It comes from him really understanding what we do, and creating a space for us to be our best."

LeBron James: "It's my almost 12-year-old daughter who is pulling the weight a lot. I was home for the Fourth of July, and my daughter came home after being out with her friends and cousins, and I pulled her to the side." LeBron James: "I said, baby, I'm letting you know. Jaylen Brown's message to Boston on the way out, with a pointed line about the organisation... Jaylen Brown: And for the new Philly fans, we're going to be ready together. For the Boston fans that still support me... I appreciate y'all. I love y'all... I feel like I'm so connected. I've been here for 10 years, I'm 29. I invested my personal money, millions of dollars, I put into Boston. Jaylen Brown: I invested into the infrastructure of programs to help sustain the future of what Boston could look like... on top of all the community centres, schools, refurbished courts, all of the above. Jaylen Brown: So no matter what, we still invested here, into the city of Boston... regardless of what the organisation got going on. But the city of Boston, I'm looking forward to being able to stay connected to, and be able to continue to invest, and continue to just put energy into the next generation.

Jaylen Brown says he wants to win more than he ever has, because of how he was treated on the way out of Boston. Jaylen Brown: At this point in my career, I would say I want to win more than I ever have. And maybe it's for obvious reasons, chat. But more than I ever have, I'm more inspired to win than anything. Jaylen Brown: Because I felt like I've been a little bit disrespected in this process... for whatever reason, for people that I thought valued me and everything that I brought to the team and the city. I found out quickly that may or may not be the case. Jaylen Brown: So I want to win more than anything. So I'm looking forward to that journey, that approach, the leadership, the sacrifice, and whatever it's going to take. But Philly, let's get it.

Christopher Nolan says The Odyssey is a promise he made to himself at 16, watching a volcano documentary in a dome-screen IMAX in Chicago. Christopher Nolan: "Going to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago when I was 16 years old, seeing a documentary about volcanoes in the OmniMax format, and thinking... why on earth isn't Hollywood using this format? I always wanted to be a director. If I ever got the chance, could I shoot a film in this way?" Christopher Nolan: "I called my friends at IMAX and said, look... if ever we're going to make a film entirely on IMAX, this is The Odyssey. This is the one. Can you find a way to alleviate the limiting factor? The cameras are extremely loud." Christopher Nolan: "What they did is they came up with a way of blimping the camera... a high-tech box that silences it. The thing weighed about 300 pounds. But it let us, for the first time ever, get the quiet scenes, the dramatic scenes, and therefore do the whole film."
