Please Be Kind To Moles. They are beneficial to soil health, acting as natural aerators and pest control by consuming lawn-damaging grubs, beetles, and larvae. They do not eat plants, and their removal often leads to new moles occupying the vacant tunnel system, making it a futile effort. Apart from that, it is CRUEL!

A homeless man has captured the attention of thousands, not for begging, but for the way he rocks his Dog to sleep every night. When asked why, he explained that life hadn’t always been this way. “When I first got him, we had an apartment,” he said softly. “Living on the street has been a hard adjustment for him. The honking, the sirens, the people, it keeps him up. So every night, I make sure he’s asleep before I close my eyes.” Their bond is a powerful reminder that love does not depend on money, status, or a roof over your head. Even in the harshest conditions, a simple act of care like holding a scared dog through the night can be a source of comfort, dignity, and hope for both of them. ❤️

An Asian Sheepshead Wrasse, first met scuba diver Hiroyuki Arakawa nearly 30 years ago when he was supervising the construction of an underwater Shinto temple gate 56 feet beneath the surface of the bay. On one dive he noticed Yoriko's mouth had been badly injured. Realising she'd be unable to catch her own food, Hiroyuki spent the next 10 days hand-feeding Yoriko meat from crabs he hammered open for her.

Who Saved Who? ❤️‍🩹 When the worker said, "She adopted you," the Dog didn't react right away. He just stood there, thin and unsure, then slowly started walking toward her. Halfway through, his body tightened and the emotion finally hit - he began crying as he reached her, pressing his fragile chest into her shoulder. She dropped to her knees and held him carefully, whispering that was safe now, while the shelter stayed quiet around them. No rushing, no acting - just a moment that felt too real to interrupt. No music. No edits. Just a raw adoption moment that says everything. Please, if at all possible ~ #AdoptDontShop 🐾.

😡 FERAL FILTH 😡 🚨 SHARED APPEAL FROM THORNE HEDGEHOG RESCUE 🚨 Paxton Way, Willesborough, Ashford, Kent – Sat 25 July 2026, ~22:05hrs 🌈💔 UPDATE: The baby hedgehog has sadly died. We're sharing this post from Thorne Hedgehog Rescue C.I.C. A tiny 245g hoglet was kicked repeatedly and left near death. The footage is horrific. A second clip shows one of the offenders taking a photo of what he’s done. The charity says this is just one of many cases they’ve reported with video evidence, vet bills, witness statements and injury reports — only to be told “no further action” because offenders “can’t be identified”. They are sickened and furious that this keeps happening without accountability. A child filmed the attack, got the hedgehog help, and offered to be a witness — braver than the “men” who carried out the violence. They need names. If you recognise the individuals, please message the charity confidentially. They will be reporting this to police and want names to go with the footage.

In the few months that cancer has decided I have left on this planet I am going to post more ‘happy’ posts. Nature is beautiful and deserves to be highlighted as much as possible. I will continue to highlight cruelty issues to raise awareness as and when I think it is necessary. Thank you for your support over the years, it is REALLY appreciated 🙏.

Japanese animal lover Hirotaka Saito made a remarkable decision when he sold his Ferrari and even his business to fund a rescue shelter dedicated to neglected and aggressive Dogs. Instead of turning away animals considered difficult or dangerous, he chose to help those that many others had already given up on. The shelter focuses on rehabilitation, patience, and care, giving troubled Dogs the opportunity to heal and trust humans again. Saito’s sacrifice transformed luxury into compassion, proving that sometimes the most valuable thing a person can give up is comfort ~ so others can finally feel safe.

Sirens of the Lambs was a 2013 Banksy installation featuring a slaughterhouse delivery truck filled with 60+ squealing, animatronic stuffed animals. Originally driven through NYC’s Meatpacking District, it acted as a moving, "hilarious yet horrifying" commentary on industrial farming, animal cruelty, and consumer apathy. The truck, labeled "Farm Fresh Meats," carried animated Sheep, Pigs, Cows, and Chickens, intended to evoke the fear and distress of real animals on their way to slaughter.

A sad day for the great Montana Bison. Interior Secretary Doug Bergum, at the request of Little Greg Gianforte and the corporate zombie Montana Senators/Reps, has ended conservation grazing permits for Bison on the great American Prairie, a huge section of restored Bison land in central Montana. Make no mistake, the decision by Bergum is an extension of the nepo-baby, grifting cronyism that currently plagues our federal government. But this time, the victim is the great American Bison. WHY?!? 😢😡 A Cedartown police officer shot and killed a beloved 1-year-old pet donkey named HeeHaw at Elsberry Riding & Farm located in Rockmart, Georgia. Law enforcement officers entered the farm’s pasture around 12:45 AM on Sunday without the owners' prior knowledge or permission. They were actively searching the area for a local missing child. During the search, HeeHaw ~ a miniature, bottle-raised donkey known to be exceptionally friendly and accustomed to sleeping in his owner's bed as a foal ~ approached the officers while running and braying. The officers claimed they felt threatened by the approaching animal. They deployed a Taser on HeeHaw before an officer drew their firearm and shot him dead. The officer involved is on paid leave pending investigation.

This video shares the story of a German Shepherd who was returned to the shelter 7 times because he wouldn’t stop crying during the night. It was thought he had severe separation anxiety. An elderly veteran with PTSD adopted him anyway. Both had nightmares from trauma. The veteran recognized the signs, slept beside him, and gently woke him during episodes. After 2 weeks, the nightmares stopped. Now they support each other through it all and never sleep alone. What a heartwarming bond ❤️‍🩹.

Rare footage from India captures a mother Elephant carefully guiding her calf across a railway track. Elephants are highly intelligent and deeply protective, and mothers are especially cautious when facing potential danger. Before crossing, the female pauses to assess her surroundings, using her acute senses to detect distant vibrations and the sound of approaching trains. Staying close, she gently directs her calf step by step, making sure it moves steadily and safely over the tracks. This moment beautifully reflects the strong maternal bond within Elephant herds, as well as their remarkable awareness and ability to navigate human-made obstacles in their environment. 🎦 Credit: Wildlife Rescuers.

“Twenty-five years ago, a story broke in Chiang Mai, Thailand about a Buffalo who ran for her life from a slaughterhouse. Covered in blood and with a deep wound around her neck, she bolted down the motorway, terrified and desperate. Local radio stations warned the public to stay alert—calling her “a mad Buffalo,” with some reporters even labeling her a “crazy ghost Buffalo,” claiming she was crashing into cars as she fled. We rushed to the scene and found her drenched in blood, a bullet having grazed her forehead—thankfully, it hadn’t pierced her skull. We fought to save her life, refusing to send her back to the slaughterhouse, even as angry voices demanded compensation for their damaged cars and called for her to be killed. With help from kind-hearted people, we rescued her. The very next morning, in her new home, she gave birth to a baby boy. We named her Mae Sroy, after the scar around her neck, and her son Chokdee, meaning “Lucky.” Since then, Mae Sroy and her son have lived peacefully among the Buffalo herd at Save Elephant Foundation. Now very old—Buffaloes typically live around 26–27 years—Mae Sroy can no longer walk with the herd. Her son has grown up to become the leader, while Mae Sroy has moved closer to our shelter for more attentive care. She now eats only finely ground, soft food, as her teeth have worn down with age. Then came the recent flood. Though her shelter was on higher ground, a sudden flash flood swept over the barriers, destroying everything—including Mae Sroy’s home. She was gone. We searched everywhere, fearing the worst. Our hearts were heavy, believing our beloved old buffalo could not have survived the raging waters. But on the third morning, a miracle happened: We found her—lying in the mud where her shelter once stood. She had come home. When she saw us, she called out, and we cried with joy. I ran to her, and she answered with soft, happy grunts, full of life and relief. Mae Sroy had survived once again. She truly is a Buffalo with nine lives. This is the story of one life we saved. At our sanctuary, every animal has a name, a story, and a soul. They are not just Buffaloes or Elephants—they are living beings with meaning and worth. Mae Sroy once ran from death to protect the life growing inside her. And now, once again, she has run from death to protect her own. She is a true survivor, and we will care for Grandma Mae Sroy with all our hearts for the rest of her days” ~ Lek Chailert. 🙏
