Providence Police officers are deployed across the city supporting snow operations and helping ensure plows can move quickly and safely through every neighborhood. Our officers are actively enforcing the parking ban, assisting with disabled vehicles, and keeping travel lanes clear so DPW crews can do their work without delays. You can help by keeping vehicles off the street and avoiding unnecessary travel while cleanup continues.

Providence officers are out across every neighborhood today helping spread the word about the citywide parking ban taking effect at 3PM. With increased tow capacity in place, this parking ban will be strictly enforced to ensure our Department of Public Works can safely and efficiently clear snow. Please move your vehicles ahead of time, use approved off-street parking locations or park at the Convention Center and help us keep roadways accessible for plows and emergency responders. Thank you for your cooperation and for doing your part to keep Providence safe.
