On Dec 8, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Car Accident A car travelling from Nagpur to Pune crashed into the central divider near Bangav Lahuki Phata after the driver failed to notice a speed breaker. The vehicle caught fire within seconds. All five passengers managed to jump out in time, which saved them from severe burns. The car, however, was completely gutted. Pune: Mother with two kids On Bike Attacked by Motorist on Baner-Pashan Link Road Jeryln Dsilva, a digital content creator from Pune, was violently assaulted today while driving on the Baner-Pashan Link Road. The attack occurred after a motorist attempted to overtake her vehicle. In an effort to allow the motorist to pass, Jeryln moved to the side of the road, but the driver stopped his vehicle, confronted her, and struck her in the face, causing severe bleeding. Jeryln reported that the motorist, described as an elderly man, was speeding recklessly and endangering other road users. At the time of the incident, Jeryln was riding her bike with two young children. She documented her harrowing experience in an Instagram video, expressing her concern over the safety of women and bikers in Pune given such aggressive behavior by fellow motorists. In the video she also mentioned that the attacker pulled her hair. Jeryln is currently receiving medical treatment at a private hospital in Baner.
