Ngl it’s wild that 4kids essentially killed off Jaden because the dub ended so abruptly lmfao with him being “somewhere out there, among the stars.” And the credits roll. I could imagine watching weekly in 2008 and being confused when 5Ds premiered the next week after this. 💀

Something hilarious about DBS is the fact that THIS was the ending song used for a good chunk of the Goku Black arc. Vegeta gets stabbed? This is the song it ends on. Beerus Hakais Zamasu? This song plays right after. Black destroys the time machine? Yoka yoka dancetime lmfao. 🤣

The cancellation of the 5Ds dub in 2011 was wild. I watched the final Japanese episodes as they aired so I assumed the dub would get there. But to my shock they not only ended it abruptly but the promos gave NO indicator the Aporia duel was the series finale just a 1 hour special

YuGiOh’s Japanese soundtrack is far superior to the 4kids soundtrack. But the 4kids soundtrack does have the occasional gem. Like whatever this banger was that played during the end of the Jaden vs Brron Duel. It’s such a catchy theme. A shame it’s only like 40ish seconds.

That purple mist was hilarious. The dub was so unserious. Carly was acting like it was another Tuesday. Lmfao.
