Bon Scott’s brother Derek gave only one interview about his famous sibling. His final resting place, shown at the start of the video, is at Fremantle Cemetery, just south of where I am in Perth. Some fantastic insights into Bon’s early life, the band & his passing, RIP, legend

Weird Al Yankovic contacted Kurt Cobain about covering Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’. Kurt asked if the parody version could be about food. Weird Al instead said the song should be about how no one can decipher the lyrics! Thankfully Cobain loved it & the rest is history!🤣

Lady Gaga, before she hit it big was working small venues, playing Led Zeppelin, & other covers. Here she is under her actual name, Stefani Germanotta, playing ‘D'yer Mak’er’ at The Bitter End club, New York, 2006. Good taste to go with Led Zep as a career starter I reckon!

At age 16, yep 16, here’s Silverchair with ‘Tomorrow’ on Saturday Night Live, Dec, 1995. Being 90’s Aussie kids they’d never have seen or heard of SNL too! SNL would have Sting on a few weeks later. At 44 he was only 4 years younger than the entire combined age of Silverchair…!
