Being part of a Yuri series, I sometimes worry people will overlook this point and instead only focus on the “shipping,” the fan service, all the buzz. And while I think that’s normal — because honestly, when I ship someone, it makes me happy too. 🐰: That’s so cute. 🐨: Yeah, but I really don’t want people to forget what we’ve poured our hearts into — which is acting. And it’s not just acting, there’s so much more. When you actually step into the work, the whole production, the entire crew, they all put in so much effort. With Harmony, people can clearly see both the acting and the production coming together — the sound, the directing, everything. People genuinely notice it. And I thought, wow, this is what it means when every side works with intention, supporting each other. The audience really receives that message. Like, they’ll see a scene where Lookmhee and Sonya are dressed a certain way — that’s thanks to the stylist. 🐰: Exactly. 🐨: Another scene, the way the director frames the camera, the angles chosen, that credit goes to the cinematographer. We want to give that recognition to everyone. 🐰: That’s what Affair and Harmony made us feel — that it’s not just about us becoming well-known, not just “Lookmhee and Sonya.” There are thirty, forty, even a hundred people who work tirelessly alongside us. And when people recognize us, they also end up recognizing the entire team behind us. That makes me feel so fulfilled, because it’s never about leaving anyone behind. 🐨: I’ll keep it simple, otherwise I’ll end up crying again. I just feel grateful, and I’ll say it the same way as always — I feel so, so lucky. Today, having Sonya sitting here with me, I feel like the luckiest person. 🐨: On our latest trip to Wuhan, the organizers booked a very large room for us. Normally we already sleep together anyway, because before this they used to book separate rooms, but Son would always come stay with Mhee anyway since Son is afraid of ghosts. So we thought, “Then should we book a connecting room instead? It has a living room too.” But in the end… we still only used one room like always. The other room wasn’t used at all. 🐨: It’s the kind of thing where people can really feel that Lookmhee and Sonya have chemistry, right? They call it “chemistry.” I only came to realize it myself after working on the Yuri series. But what I want to say is, others might see that chemistry just when they watch a Yuri show, but for me, the chemistry between me and Sonya in real life is something that truly exists. I can really feel it. What I mean is, in our daily lives, Lookmhee and Sonya don’t have everything perfectly in sync, not everything fits flawlessly. But it’s blended in a way that feels harmonious — that’s the word I use, “well-balanced.” Like, if one of us is tired, the other will come closer; if one is struggling, the other will push and encourage.
