Grant us, with Michael, still, 0 Lord, Against the prince of pride to fight; So may a crown,be our reward, Before the Lamb's pure throne of light. Third quarter report cards were distributed today. This report is a milestone for each child to reflect on whether he or she made progress in both virtue and academics for the past months. The final quarter is the most rigorous time of year with preparation for end-of-year finals. “Let us give our children to God by giving them a good education; it is the surest means to lead them to Him, for without knowledge they cannot know Him, and without virtue they cannot love Him." -St. Madeline Sophie Barat #Traditionalcatholic #classicaleducation

The Sisters are learning not to underestimate what the students can achieve. This piece, O Quam Gloriosus Est, is unaccompanied four-part Renaissance polyphony by Victoria. Perhaps the most difficult genre to perform well. But the children are pulling together the parts with ease. We are looking forward to the final performance with dynamics added. #polyphony #sacredmusic
