This is a message to all you so called patriots on Mother’s Day scared of seeing a powerful mother with muscles. Mildred Burke was an all American underdog, God loving, trailblazing woman who changed culture. As the writer/director who has dedicated my life in Hollywood to telling inspiring, patriotic stories- I’m very hurt watching all these people on X attack the film as if it’s some type of political propaganda. My pops directed ROCKY & THE KARATE KID but I didn’t meet him until I was 34. I grew up with a single mom and was fortunate to be sent off to a JROTC AIR FORCE Military School when I was very young which played a huge part in my success as I made my way in life after high school. This is an independent film that I put my own savings into bringing to the screen because Hollywood didn’t see value in a true story about a Christian female athlete who was not famous in the present day. This is me asking you to give it a chance and stop spitting negativity because you are hyper politicizing every single thing you see on X. I have purposely been advertising the movie on here to reach patriotic parents to enjoy this with their family on Mother’s Day, rated PG-13 🍿🤼♀️ and certified fresh🍅 Here’s the link to watch it at home tonight.
