What if there was a #Cancer drug that attacked the DNA of cancerous cells and unleashed the patient's own immune system on the cancer to kill it? 🎯 Sounds like science fiction, but it could be closer to a reality than you think. We've received approval from the UK’s medicines regulator to begin a UK-wide clinical trial @QUBPGJCCR for an anti-cancer drug that could do just that. Did you know, many #cancer survivors are being financially discriminated against when it comes to accessing services like loans, mortgages, health and travel insurance? A new study has highlighted the extent of the problem and is calling for the #RightToBeForgotten to be introduced into legislation. "It is disgraceful that significant numbers of cancer survivors continue to be discriminated against financially. "While the current cost of living crisis is hard for everyone, it is so much worse for cancer survivors.
