The public apology by Mr. Kankam Boadu of Pure FM, who falsely alleged that Gyankroma Akufo-Addo received $25 million to paint interchanges in Accra, is both revealing and instructive. For years, the New Patriotic Party, former President Akufo-Addo, and members of his family, and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia were subjected to a relentless campaign of misinformation, distortion, and outright falsehoods. Even when unequivocal denials were issued, many chose not to listen. The Comms Directorate was often mentioned for not fighting back hard enough. But the truth is, these NDC lies and fabrications were, unfortunately, louder, more convenient, and politically expedient. The heightened sense of incitement against the person of President Akufo-Addo, his family, and the New Patriotic Party made it easy for people to believe fabricated lies rather than the truth. Today, the truth is beginning to emerge, piece by piece. Mr. Kankam Boadu's apology is not just about one false claim. It is emblematic of a broader pattern: a deliberate NDC party effort led by President John Mahama and the NDC deception machine, purposed to mislead the Ghanaian public and weaponise falsehoods for political gain. This lie was among the narratives used to turn public sentiment against former President Akufo-Addo, his family, the Vice President, and the New Patriotic Party. We take note of the apology. But more importantly, we take note of what it represents. As a party, we will not let such moments pass quietly. We will continue to highlight these instances as part of a necessary national reflection, one that asks how easily falsehoods were accepted, how quickly reputations were damaged, and how critical it is to restore truth to our political discourse. Rebuilding trust requires honesty. Reconnecting with the people requires confronting the past. And, Dr. Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party are committed to doing both. Please watch the apology below... #Ghana NDC Communications Bureau NPP Ghana HQ NPP Projects Bureau NPP Loyal Ladies

Yesterday, 19th January 2025, was a Black Sunday in H.E. John Mahama’s Ghana. It has taken me a lot to wrap my mind around the needless killing of eight or more Ghanaians in Obuasi. My condolences to the families, friends, and the larger Obuasi and Ashanti Region😭. We share in your pain and trauma. Ghanaians must hold the NDC and the John Mahama Administration responsible for the murder of these eight Ghanaians owing to their inaction to inform, caution, or advise the members of the NDC who have taken the laws into their own hands and storming institutions under the guise that it is their government that is in power. Just 12 days in office, 8 avoidable slaughters simply because the NDC refused to heed the call to bring their rampaging members to order. Now, these precious lives are gone forever due to that negligence. No extent of investigation will bring them back to life😭 Well, let's console one another as we await the outcome of the requested investigation to see if these Ghanaians murdered in cold blood will see justice... We must pray for justice for the Obuasi 8.. Rest in peace, my fellow Ghanaians😭 #Ghana #Obuasi #TV3NewDay #Joynews #CitiNewsroom John Dramani Mahama Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang Asaase 99.5 Peace FM Online

The NDC must honor its commitment to the Peace Pact signed on its behalf by H.E. John Mahama. The IGP must act to protect life and property, but most of all, maintain peace after the elections. #VoteBawumia #PossibleWithBawumia #Bawumia2024 #ItIsPossible #BoldSolutionsForOurFuture #GhanaNextChapter #BawumiaTours #Newsfile #Bawumia #Ghana #TV3NewDay #JoyNews #CitiNewsroom #BuildingGhanaTogether #MovingGhanaForward #GMG #RGGNews #3Newsgh Larry Madowo Peace FM Online #TV3GH CITI FM 97.3

The increasing mob disruptions and now takeovers of state institutions by NDC supporters are undermining our democracy. We started calling on the NDC leadership to beat their members to order immediately after the elections, knowing that their conduct was unlawful. The picture below shows a mob takeover of Cocobod offices, among others. The Ghana Police Service must ensure that people violating our laws are held accountable. H.E. Mahama is the president of this Republic, and members of the NDC must have confidence in his ability to lead on the matters that they are taking the law into their hands to deal with... These mob disruptions reflect poorly on the NDC's democratic credentials, and they must stop. John Dramani Mahama Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang #GhanaNewsAgency #Ghana
