🚨UNBELIEVABLE! Retired RCMP officers were lured into a CBC program under false pretenses, then mocked for their service to Canada. I brought forward a motion to investigate and hold the CBC accountable. The Liberals shut down debate. No answers. No accountability. Shameful.

We asked the CEO why: -She didn't know what we were talking about. -She didn't see the issue with it. -She wouldn't commit to ending the practice. Canadians deserve better.

Bill C-11 is the worst censorship law Canada has ever seen, giving government control over what Canadians can see, say, and share online. But it’s so badly written that even two years later, the Liberals can’t figure out how to implement it. Courts are involved. The CRTC is confused. Canadians are left in limbo. Protecting freedom online means scrapping Bill C-11 altogether. Canadians deserve better.

To the CBC, diversity seems to stop at appearances. Diversity of thought and belief is sidelined. The CBC maintains a blacklist and cancels panels that challenge Liberal viewpoints. And this is the institution receiving $1.5 billion in taxpayer funding. Canadians deserve better from their public broadcaster.

A tax, is a tax, is a tax. The CRTC just tripled the online streaming tax from 5% to 15%, increasing the cost for consumers and putting CUSMA negotiations at risk during a critical time. This reckless decision by the CRTC is jeopardizing Canada’s ability to make a deal with the US— which Carney promised to deliver months ago. Enough is enough. The Liberals have the ability to reverse this decision. Why won’t they?

When the CBC does something good, the Liberals rush to take credit, but when the CBC fails, the Liberals claim the CBC is at an arms length. But there’s no denying it—the Liberals gave the CBC $1.6 billion and part of that cash was used to humiliate RCMP veterans and academics in the name of “entertainment.” Both the Liberals and the CBC are responsible for the cruel “prank” they attempted.

In 2014, there was war in the Middle East and Ukraine. Oil was $100/barrel. But the price at the pump? $1.38 per litre. That’s $0.44/L less than today! What changed? It’s a short answer. The government. Ever since Mark Carney’s Liberals took power, gas prices have soared and Canadians have paid the price. Conservatives are calling on the government to support our motion to take ALL taxes off ALL fuel for ALL of the year, to bring prices down at the pump and save Canadians $1200 by Christmas.
