We studied 2,995 paywalls. Interviewed 'The Paywall Guy' Jonathan Parra, who's designed 4,700+ paywalls. Analyzed 728 subscription flows on Mobbin. We found these and more: → An ugly paywall could outperform a pretty one → More friction could increase conversions → Users often decide to pay before they reach the paywall → Multi-page paywalls > single-page paywalls In this video, we break down: → real a/b tests → examples from best-in-class apps → paywall placement strategy → pricing + packaging → value framing → reducing risk → timing → copy This is one of the most research-heavy videos we've made. 🔍 'mobbin' on youtube
