Eight hundred years of the post of Chancellor of the Exchequer. Every one, a man. On July 5 this year, we changed that.

A Budget that cuts waiting lists, that cuts our debt and borrowing, and cuts the cost of living. That is my commitment to you.

The Conservatives crashed the economy and left a £22 billion black hole. Labour are taking the tough decisions now to fix the foundations, so we can rebuild Britain and make every part of the country better off.
