Zohran’s ability to always turn negative attacks on him into positive ways forward for everyone in this city is remarkable. In respond to Debra Messing falsely claiming he celebrated 9/11 (he was 9) he said he liked her show. In response to a MAGA billionaire dehumanizing him for being Muslim, he said thanks for calling me smart. In response to billionaire business owners attacking him personally, he said a Mayor that helps New Yorkers be healthy and happy makes for better business. It’s just amazing.
