Heartbroken.💔 My father, Prof VK Tripathi fasted all day at Rajghat for Gaza, handing out flyers. Around 6 pm many police came shouting and speaking with hatred, as if we were there to cause trouble. I can’t believe this is our police. So much hate and prejudice.

Today my father, Prof Tripathi arranged Iftar for around 80-100 people observing Roza. The purpose was twofold: to share Iftar with our fellow citizens who are fasting in this country, and to remember all those across the world who are observing Roza while enduring war, oppression, and hardship. It was lovely❤️

Papa, Prof VK Tripathi, left home at 10 am with fliers on Gaza. He’ll spend the day on the streets, wearing these posters. He is deeply hurt by the Mass Starvation in Gaza. He will fast on Aug 15th.  Please sign the petition and let the world know that there are Indians across the globe who share Gaza’s pain in a peaceful, non-violent way, by fasting. ❤️✊

My father, Prof Tripathi visited Uttam Nagar, Delhi today and spoke to local residents after the death of a 26 yrs old young man on Holi. People there said it stemmed from an old personal dispute. Both families come from extremely poor backgrounds. Papa saw on the ground was grief ad not communal hatred. Outside the locality, however, attempts are being made to turn this tragedy into a Hindu–Muslim narrative. Beware.

This time, Chandni Chowk in this heat. My father, Prof VK Tripathi, has dedicated his life to humanity. A retired IITD professor. Age: 76. Excellent academic background and career. Araam se ghar baith kar gyan de sakte hain. But he chose to go out and spread the word of peace and harmony. Every day, when he comes back home, he is exhausted. What makes him happy is when he meets people who want a united India.

My father, Prof VK Tripathi and I have come to Mumbai to spread a simple message of humanity about the suffering of innocent children in Gaza. While in Dharavi, my father was stopped by the police and was prevented from distributing leaflets; he was taken to the police station for about three hours.

My father, Prof VK Tripathi, is not at home (Delhi). He is distributing fliers on the roads of Bhopal at present. On Diwali, he is appealing to everyone to pray for the innocent people of Gaza. Papa is fasting today for it as well. I hope these prayers are heard soon. 🙏
