In the 80s, Canadian band Refugee recorded ‘Sunrise in Zimbabwe’ at Steve Roskilly’s Shed Studios, Harare. Ralph Stutchbury added visuals. Steve took it to Zim tourism board to pitch as an ad, but turned down. Michael Hogg ad agency took it, & used it for this famous Air Zim ad

Some renders of CBZ Holdings’ $150m project, called Northgate Estates. 8,000 cribs, shopping centre, light industry, a solar plant. All on 1000ha! CBZ has quite some ivhu. Masimba got the contractor deal. Hope, one day, mortgages make sense again in the Teapot. For now, eh.

Went to Monty’s, near Harare. These Cdes decided: “But why should baked beans be in a can?” So, invested a few millions in this Tetrapak plant. Pushing out well over 70K packets a day! Best part? They just signed contracts with local farmers to supply Michigan Pea Beans. Win🇿🇼
